Year of the Rat – Limited Edition 2020
Maya Selva Cigars is releasing their third annual cigar celebrating the Chinese New Year. This year’s edition is the YEAR OF THE RAT. The design line brings together traditional Chinese patterns and Mayan hieroglyphics. The Rat is the first of the 12-year cycle of animals that represent the Chinese zodiac. According to Chinese tradition, 12 animals guard the gates of Heaven. According to Mayan tradition, we are all born with a Nahual, or spirit animal, that guides us through life.
These cigars come in one size, a toro with tobaccos from the valleys of Jamastrán in Honduras and Jalapa in Nicaragua. Previous cigars in the series are the Year of the Dog (2018) and the Year of the Pig (2019).

Villa Zamorano Soberano
The next new release from Maya Selva is the Villa Zamorano SOBERANO. This cigar is said to be representative of the tobaccos found in the Jamastrán Valley in Honduras. It si described as full bodied. The original line was first sold in 2002.

The last announcement come in the form of another extension to the Villa Zamorano brand, Villa Zamorano Reserva PERSONITA. This cigar is exclusive to Germany. It is blended with Honduran tobacco and comes in a small size meant for a short break in time.
