Cigar News: Micallef Cigars Announces Micallef "A"

Micallef Cigars has announced a new cigar, the Micallef “A” that honors the Micallef Ambassadors. The name was picked by the Ambassadors after they got to smoked it in a limited release celebrating the one-year anniversary of the Micallef Ambassador community. The cigar sold out in 36 hours and was referred to as the “TBN” or “To be Named”.

The Micallef A measure 6.75 x 54 and is described as a Churchill. The blend uses a Nicaraguan Maduro Wrapper, Ecuadorian
Sumatra Binder, and Nicaraguan and Dominican Fillers. It will be exclusive to brick and mortar.

“Brick and Mortars are the backbone of this industry and I want to continue to be a great partner with them,” said Al Micallef.

Micallef started taking reservations for the “Micallef A” after it initially sold out in February. Dan Thompson, president of Micallef Cigars commented “Demand for the
Micallef A has been substantial and steady these past six months. Its been popular right from the start, our factory is excited to roll cigars honoring the Ambassadors. Everything in the shipment which arrived from Nicaragua is already pre-reserved for our Brick & Mortar partners. We’re humbled by its success.”

The cigar will sell for a $7.50 MSRP and began shipping immediately to retailers who made reservations for the new release.

The Micallef Cigars Ambassador Group began in 2019 to bring together a community of cigar enthusiasts who share an admiration for the traditions of premium handrolled cigars and the artisans who craft them. Membership is open to all cigar enthusiasts.
