Every year around the 4th of July, United Cigars comes out with a special limited edition of their Firecracker series. Each year is with a new company. This year’s release is with Foundation Cigar Company and will be the Wiseman MaduroFirecracker 2021. Last year’s Perdomo Firecracker made #23 on out Top 25 Cigars of the year list.
Like previous releases, this Firecracker will measure 3.5” x 50 and feature a wick as the cap. “This was a fun project to be a part of,” said Nick Melillo. “Fitting the depth of Wiseman Maduro into a 3 1/2” vitola was a challenge but what a flavor bomb it is.”
The Wiseman MaduroFirecracker, like the original Wiseman Maduro, is rolled at Tabacos Valle de Jalapa S.A (TABSA), uses a Mexican San Andres wrapper, Nicaraguan Corojo Jalapa binder, and filler from, Jalapa,and Esteli, Nicaragua. It will come in boxes of 20 that sell for $150 per box or $7.50 for a single. Wiseman MaduroFirecracker will ship in June.
