Psyko Seven, the cigar with the huge band, is getting a smaller size. The Dominican smoke from California’s Ventura Cigar Co. will soon have a corona.
The new size will measure 5 1/2 inches by 46 ring, and be made with the same blend as the original line: a mix of tobaccos from the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Peru, Honduras, the United States and Nicaragua. The Psyko Seven Corona will have the same eye-catching packaging as the other four sizes in the line: a 3-inch-wide, 2 1/2-inch-high cigar band with the name of the cigar, the frontmark, details of the blend and the name and address of the distributor company.
The corona will debut in March. The four original sizes scored 87 to 90 points in a vertical brand tasting conducted in a November issue of Cigar Insider.
