Davidoff has announced a new line in the AVO Syncro series, AVO Syncro Caribe. This is the first new cigar in the line since the AVO Syncro South America Ritmo in 2017. Previous releases include 2016’s Syncro Nicaragua Fogata, and the original AVO Syncro Nicaragua.
“The AVO Syncro series is centered around the concept of tobacco synchronization. This is an incorporation of the diversity, complexity and compatibility of selected tobaccos from varying regions. With the newest addition of the AVO Syncro Caribe, we strive to deliver new frontiers in cigar experiences.”
Lana Fraser, Director of Marketing and Retail at Davidoff of Geneva USA
AVO Syncro Caribe will come in boxes of 20 and in three sizes: Robusto 5 x 50 $10.90, Toro 6 x 52 $11.90, and Special Toro 6 x 60 $12.90. The name Caribe comes from the focus of the flavors in the cigar, the Caribbean. The cigar was blended to showcase a process the company calls ‘Natural Distribution’ in which the proportions of the tobaccos on any given plant is perfectly matched in the blending process. Specifically, the ratios of tobaccos from each priming are matched in the blend in all vitolas.
The blend uses a Dominican wrapper, Ecuadorian binder, and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. The company says this blend showcases a lively, dynamic and harmonious flavor profile of Caribbean flavors. AVO Syncro Caribe will ship mid August.
