This year, Davidoff will release the 10th and final installment of the AVO Improvisation series. The AVO Improvisation 2022 “The Closing Improvisation” will actually come in two different blends.
The AVO brand over the past decade has released the AVO Improvisation ever year to honor the birthday of the brand’s late founder, Avo Uvezian. He was a composer who had a passionate zest for life and love of cigars. This final limited edition will hit shelves in March in time for Avo‘s
birthday which is celebrated on March 22.
The two blends are the AVO Improvisation 2022 Black and AVO Improvisation 2022 White. The colors are inspired by the keys of the piano.
The AVO Improvisation 2022 packaging memorializes both the luxury and musical inspiration of the AVO Lines. The box utilizes black and gold color themes to reflect the two most commonly observed colors in a symphony. Additionally we see the contrasting nature of these two blends

reflected to the surface with this box design. The ‘Closing Improvisation’ showcases two distinct yet complimentary blends to pair with various occasions, times of the day, and flavor and intensity preferences of the aficionado.
The blend for Improvisation 2022 White uses binder and filler tobaccos from the Dominican
Republic and an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper. The Improvisation 2022 Black uses an Ecuadorian Wrapper, binder from Mexico and filler tobaccos from both Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. The cigars measure 5 1/2 x 55 and come in boxes of 22 with 11 of each blend. Each cigar retails for $16.00 and 1,500 will be available in the U.S.
