HVC Cigars has announced a new size in their 500th Anniversary line, a Salomon exclusive to attendees of the PCA trade show 2022. The company released the 500th anniversary in 2019 as a celebration of the city of Havana's 500th anniversary which was founded by the Spanish on November 16th, 1519.
The blend for the Salomon is the same as the rest of the vitolas which uses a Corojo 99 wrapper, Jalapa binder, and Criollo 98 and Corojo 99 fillers grown in Jalapa and Esteli. The Salomon measures 6 ¾ a 56 and is a perfecto shape. It does differ from the rest of the line in that this is the first to be rolled at their new factory, Fabrica de Tabacos HVC SA.
Each HVC 500th Anniversary Salomon has an MSRP of $13.50 and comes in 15-count boxes.
