Drew Estate is bringing another addition to the Liga Privada line this week at the IPCPR trade show, and this is a big one. The new blend is dubbed H99 and uses a Connecticut Corojo wrapper. This marks the first new regular production line to the Liga Privada family since the T52 in 2009.
Today, Drew Estate announced that they would be rebranding their Herrera Esteli lines as well as releasing two new line extensions. The two new versions are the Herrera Esteli Brazilian Maduro and Herrera Esteli Miami. The entire line will be shown off later this week at the IPCPR trade show.
Drew Estate will expand their offerings of 4 x 32 cigars in Tins at the 2018 IPCPR trade show in Las Vegas. Now available in the Tins will be Undercrown, Deadwood, La Vieja Habana, Isla del Sol, Ambrosia and Kentucky Fire Cured. In addition, some of the Joya de Nicaragua lines will also be available in this format. These lines include Antano 1970, Joya Black, and Joya Red.
Drew Estate just announced the national release of Isla del Sol Maduro. It will be the long hoped for maduro wrapped blend of Isla del Sol. They also announced a new Gordito vitola in the Isla del Sol Sun Grown line, the original line of Isla del Sol. Each of these new cigars will debut at the 2018 IPCPR trade show.
Today, Drew Estate has announced the pre-release of the Liga Privada No. 9 CORONA VIVA exclusively for the Cigars International Super-Store in Hamburg, Pennsylvania. The event is the 15th annual CIGARfest. The #9 Corona Viva has the same Connecticut River Valley Broadleaf Oscuro Wrapper, Plantation grown Brazilian Mata Fina Binder, and Nicaraguan and Honduran Fillers as the original blend, but like the Undercrown Corona Viva, released in 2012, has increased Ligero for a stronger cigar.
Today, Drew Estate announced 6 smaller ring gauge line extensions for Liga Privada and Nasty Papas Fritas. The new vitolas for the Liga Privada No. 9 and T52 lines will be Corona Viva, Short Panatela, and Petit Corona. There will also be a new cigar Unico Serie Nasty Fritas. All these new cigars will be shown off at the IPCPR trade show later this week in Las Vegas.
Today, Drew Estate announced that the Undercrown Dogma would be making a return. The project was Cigar Dojo's first collaboration on a cigar to celebrate their 1 years anniversary as an online community.
Drew Estate will soon release Kentucky Fire Cured (KFC) Sweets. They are a twist on the KFC cigar with a sweet/savory tip. KFC Sweets will be available for order in Drew Estate’s Booth at the 2018 IPCPR trade show in Las Vegas. The cigar itself is identical to the original KFC cigar, but according to a Press Release "The mouth feel on the cigar is like bacon maple goodness mixed with bourbon and barbecue."
The ACID Petra, a 5 x 54 robusto with a Sumatra wrapper and pigtail cap, was released early in the 2000’s. A medium-bodied cigar offering unique aromas and flavors, including a blend of smoothness and spice. Petra is being re-introduced to the premium cigar marketplace in 24-ct boxes with the unmistakable ACID branding.
The dates for each of the 2018 Barn Smoker events from Drew Estate have been announced. The Barn Smokers are meant to highlight the American tobacco experience and bring the cigar smoker to the barn to teach them about the ins and outs of tobacco growing, processing, and manufacture. Drew Estate is adding Pennsylvania to the Barn Smoker lineup in 2018,
specifically in Strasburg, PA on June 23rd. This event will be highlighted by the introduction of a new test blend that will feature a Pennsylvania Broadleaf wrapper.
