Altadis U.S.A. has announced expanded national distribution of the Henry Clay Rustic Cheroot. This is the third line extension for Henry Clay following the Henry Clay Tattoo and Henry Clay Stalk Cut. Rustic Cheroot is a small, full-bodied cigar that pay homage to an old-world cigar culture.
Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – Henry Clay, the legendary premium cigar with a devoted and growing niche following, announces its newest line, Henry Clay Stalk Cut by Grupo De Maestros.
“Stalk cut” is a tobacco-harvesting method in which the entire stalk is cut and hung to dry in the tobacco barns. This method allows the tobacco to retain its natural nutrients to yield richer, more flavorful leaves.
The Henry Clay brand might not be one of Altadis U.S.A.'s premier lines, but Pete Johnson of Tatuaje Cigars has had an affinity for these oft-ignored cigars ever since he started smoking them. Now, the Altadis blending team known as the Grupo de Maestros has worked closely with Johnson and will be releasing a collaborative cigar dubbed the Henry Clay Tattoo.
