"The cigar started off well, developed nicely, then finished with a slight harshness that wasn't quite enjoyable. It heated up quite a bit in the final third. Maybe smoking it slower would eliminate this, but I am not 100% sure. All in all a decent smoke. The power behind it as it transitioned through the final two thirds was a bit of a surprise, and may prove too strong for a newer smoker. "Rarely is ever do I have a cigar experience that is as epic as this was. The flavors and aromas were beyond extraordinary and they worked so well together . Citrus, salted nuts, slight sweetness, and a retro so smooth it should be criminal. I'd easily give this a 98. Multi box worthy. "While there was a little bit of concern from the mid-point on, all in all this cigar offered a very pleasant smoking experience. The transitions from start to finish were well defined and each complimented the next. It is firmly in the medium full range in strength and body, and would be most enjoyed by smokers with a little experience under their belt to truly appreciate what the cigar has to offer. "While I typically do not prefer cigars that are "one dimensional", I do appreciate ones that have minimal transitions, with outstanding representations of the flavors that are there. This is one of those cigars. My only complaint is this was a relatively fast burner. It was one that I wished I had a toro version of, cause I wasn't ready to be done when the nub got to hot to hold! "This was an enjoyable cigar from start to finish. There were constant surprises in the profile from the pre-light all the way to the nub. It progressed the way I like for cigars to smoke. It started out with very pleasing flavors, and developed more, and different ones as it went along. The strength started out close to medium, and slowly progressed to finish solidly as medium full. "All in all a very pleasant cigar to smoke. I loved that the flavor profile started off with a great combination, only to add more to the game as the cigar smoked. No drastic changes, just enough change to sense a difference on the palate and enhance the overall smoking experience. This is a very flavor forward cigar that has much more body than strength. I honestly feel that smokers of all levels will find some enjoyment here. This would be a great cigar for first thing in the morning with a cup of coffee or tea, or an after dinner cigar with a spiced rum or low proof bourbon. Any beverage with a lot of strength or spice will overrun it versus elevate it. I would be proud to have some of these in my humidor." -Kevin A. (Kevin A.)
