"This was a fun cigar to smoke. From the unique shape to the sweet start and spicy finish. If the draw was perfect all the way through, it would be phenomenal. This is for sure one of the most enjoyable cigars I have smoked in quite some time, and I would recommend anyone try it." -Kevin A. (Kevin A.)
"It's a winner for me. I really enjoyed the shifts in profile, the quality of the smoke, and just how well it performed even with several areas that were damaged in transit. I'm thoroughly impressed with the experience and will be picking some of these up. " -Alan (Eulogy)
"For a Connecticut shade cigar, this was fairly enjoyable. There weren't any flavor transitions to speak of but the salted nuts and butter worked well together. Very mild in strength but it would make a good morning cigar or a cigar to start your day with. Coffee might overpower the flavors in this but I can see it being enjoyed with a milder coffee or chai tea. It didn't wow me but my palate tends to enjoy the darker stronger cigars." -Kevin J. "This cigar is meant to be smoked. Allowing it to sit for long causes the flavors to dissipate. Keep it hot and it will deliver. And that is where the problem comes. You have to keep on this cigar to keep the flavors rolling. I think if I had kept on this cigar, puffing at much faster than my normal rate, not only would I have found more enjoyable flavors, it would have also significantly shortened its already fast smoking time. While I quite enjoyed the first third, the rest of this cigar just couldn't satisfy. " -Isaac M. (The Nothing)
"Overall it had good flavors through and through. The strength of this cigar was more then I was expecting. The smoke output was a lot. The smoke texture was thick and really stuck to the palate. Musty mineral and rich earthy coffee notes. No sweetness to this smoke. Retrohale was very strong musty black pepper." -Chad M. (Chad Tchad)
"The beginning notes of vanilla, raisin, roasted coffee, and leather and how it transitioned from the first to the second third really kept my interest. Packed full of flavors. The burn and draw were perfections. This is a cigar I would definitely try again and recommend to any cigar Smoker. Very well done overall. " -Kevin J. (maninblack77)
"I enjoyed this cigar and look forward to seeing what it is so I can smoke it again. Though the opening black coffee flavor was almost too bitter for me, it transitioned into a smooth and spicy blend. By the final puffs that were very much reminiscent of Mexican chocolate, I hated having to finally put it down. " -Lauren S. (Lauren S.)
"The Lonsdale vitola is quickly becoming one of my favorite sizes. The flavors seem to really pop in this format. The flavors in this cigar were impressive and there were enough transitions to keep me interested. This is definitely a cigar I'd try again. Thanks for the opportunity. " -Kevin J. (maninblack77
"From beginning to end this cigar performed like a rock star. The transitions in flavors from section to section kept my interest and the flavors were exactly what I look for in a cigar. Cocoa, baking spices, leather, and salted nuts all worked in unison to create a truly enjoyable experience. I would definitely recommend this cigar to anyone. Thanks for the chance to smoke it!" -Kevin J. (maninblack77)
"Overall, I would say, this was an excellent cigar. Although the flavors did not transition much from third to third, considering I enjoyed all of these flavors it was very pleasing. I would definitely recommend this to individuals who, like a little bit bolder of a cigar, considering it was medium to full throughout most of the cigar." -Angel M. (Angel)
