"I won't lie; I have a love-hate relationship any time I come across a lancero. When done properly, they're typically the best means of expressing a profile for me. The problem is the consistency overall with them. Some require constant relighting if you're not tending to it perfectly with your draws, some burn super hot when you do, others draw like you're trying to suck a marble through a straw. None of these experiences are ideal in my book. Fortunately, this one gave me none of these problems. It was a nice profile mix of chocolate and cinnamon with some heavy doses of pepper starting out. I'd be willing to smoke it again, but probably not enough to run out and pick up a box or two. " -Doug S. (Unpossible_1)
"Overall this was a very enjoyable smoke. From the pigtail and oily wrapper to nub, this cigar was a treat. Definitely a stronger cigar that should be enjoyed on a full stomach. The strength built significantly throughout and offered a definitive kick towards the end. Enjoyable flavors, although they did not transition much from start to finish. I would not give this stick to a beginner, however I would love to have a few more in my humidor. I enjoyed the smoke very much and can’t wait for the reveal so I can grab a few more. " -Adam B. (Bushboy)
"Overall, this was a wonderful, flavorful, tasty cigar. I truly enjoy a cigar with a shaggy foot that actually functions well for tasting the cigar blend without a wrapper and then have it transition into something truly magical when you get there. Big big big flavors and a great construction and draw made this cigar very desirable to smoke again and again and again…. Pick up all you can of this cigar, I can’t imagine it would stay on shelves for very long!" -John A. (Bostoneo)

"I was pleased with this cigar and what it had to offer. Once I gave it the proper respect, the flavors really came together to reward my efforts. Between the chai spices and almond biscotti, I would seek this out again no question." -Doug S. (Unpossible_1)

"This cigar was exactly what I needed right now. Lots of sweet creams and cedar notes to hold my attention while throwing in hints of cinnamon here and there to really keep me on my toes. It stayed right at a mild to medium in strength from beginning to end. I would definitely like to have more of these on hand, and I bet this would pair amazingly with your morning coffee. ·"Fantastic cigar in one of my favorite vitolas. Not really flashy in terms of serious flavor transitions, but the core flavors were magnificent, and right up my alley. I'd happily smoke these on a very regular basis. " -John I. (John I.)
