"Though this cigar started a little unbalanced, it definitely kept getting better as I got through it. With a moderate level of complexity, and smooth transitions, it held my interest pretty well. "The flavor was slightly light and one note, but it was a nice sweet floral and cedar flavor. The cigar had a good creaminess until the final third, which transitioned into a heavy, bitter bite. "The blend's flavor was perfect for my palate. It began with a deep musk, then transitioned into a delicious smoky honey glaze flavor before returning to a slightly edgier musk at the end. The cigar smoked great, with only minor burn issues in the second half, and I enjoyed it so much that I smoked it down to the nub. "Something about this cigar blend was a superstar for me. I often found myself smoking too fast because I was enjoying the blend so much. Leather was the star backbone of the blend from the first puff until the last. There was some great complexity first, with cedar sweetness and a slight white pepper on the retro. "I feel like this cigar may have been a little young or ran into some issues during its aging. The opening has a strong sour flavor, and the finish is dry and chalky. It gave me classic signs of a young stick. While smokable, and I didn't have to put it down, the only flavor I could get between those two issues was a nice classic light earthy flavor. "Great cigar from beginning to end. This cigar was full of flavor. Notes include tea, black pepper, popcorn, hickory, lavender, pork, and clove. I wanted the enjoyment to continue. Perfect draw, burn, and construction. Minor touch ups were needed, but didn't interfere with the pleasure. This cigar is one I'd share with my friends. "The flavor profile on this one wasn’t normally something I’d go for, but it certainly wasn’t offensive or bad. It was well-balanced up until the final third. It didn’t get unhinged at that point, just lost some of the sweetness until the very end. There was a decent amount of complexity, and the transitions flowed smoothly and made sense.
