“It’s hard for me to assign a top rating to any cigar, and I try to reserve the highest mark for something really wondrous. This is about as close to cigar perfection for me as I can imagine. Big bold flavors with a lot of strength. Packs a punch but the potency was never over the top and the overall balance between strength and flavor was really thoroughly impressive. ” -John I. (John I.)

“Man, this was a fun cigar. I have to blame myself for the performance at the beginning, even if it did feel and look ok. Once I gave it the deeper cut, this cigar was awesome. The savory flavors kept me attached the whole way through. There was a lot more complexity in the first third that seemed to tone down through the rest of the cigar; I really wish it just kept going. ” -Isaac M. (The Nothing)

“This cigar, based on looks alone, was one that I was anticipating. The best part is that it didn’t disappoint. Fuller flavored. Fuller bodied. Just what I was expecting. The flavor of this cigar was spot on, for me, to the point that I was easily able to forgive the burn problems. I found that this cigar lighted to be smoked, and not set down to rest, which was fine because I didn’t want to put it down.” –Isaac M. (The Nothing)

This was a good offering from Diesel, no less that what I would expect. I don’t think it’s as good as the Unholy Cocktail or Puro Authentico, but I would put it above the regular unlimited line. I think with some time this will get better and more refined with less heat in the final third. When you take price into account, this is a very good budget cigar.

“Overall, this was a very good cigar. I enjoyed the earthy and creamy notes of roasted nuts, bread, cedar and black pepper quite a bit. These flavors intermingled very well together. There was a lack of complexity and changes, but being a 60 minute smoke or so, this doesn’t bother me that much.” -Jiunn (jliu)
