"This was an enjoyable cigar from start to finish. Nothing stood out in the flavor profile, but it was all solid. This would be a great day starter, as it could easily be smoked on an empty stomach. I will be adding these to my usual rotation for sure! " -Kevin A. (Kevin A.)
Pospiech Inc, the distribution company behind Powstanie, Fable, Guaimaro, and FQ cigars, has announced a new cigar in collaboration with Room 101 "Who Shot Ya." Pospiech Inc is run by Mike Szczepankiewicz who is also the owner of Cigar Hustler, a cigar shop and podcast.
I have been really impressed with many of the cigars released under the Room 101 brand name, and the Chief Cool Arrow is also impressive. The cigar is not only beautiful and interesting in the design, but it is well made and classically constructed. The flavor profile is in good company with the overall design. Bold, but classical. No harshness or overpowering notes ever came through the profile, and it was pleasant to smoke. Not boring or lackluster, but still some subtle nuances that kept me interested and excited to see what the next puff would bring. I recommend this cigar and am looking forward to trying the other vitolas.
Famous Smoke Shop has just released a new cigar line in collaboration with Room 101 cigars. The new release is Room 101 El Mas Chingon cigars, and they are exclusively available at Famous Smoke Shop.
Room 101 is releasing its second line of the year, Daruma Gold, a follow-up to 2013's limited-production parejo line. The previous Daruma, which had an Ecuadoran wrapper, received a wide range of scores in its vertical tasting, from 90 points down to 86. Daruma Gold sports the same binder and filler leaves as its predecessor, but the wrapper has been changed to a Mexican San Andrés leaf.
"'Finger licking good.' Those were the only words in my mind when this cigar was burning my fingertips in the end. The flavors were great, and the transitions were cohesive. I'd love to try this cigar in a larger format because I couldn't get enough of this cigar." -Isaac M. (The Nothing)

"I enjoyed this cigar, it was mild enough to be enjoyed as your 1st cigar of the day with some coffee. There were enough transitions to hold my attention with cream, cedar and some cinnamon. " -Mickey T. (irratebass)

"I really enjoyed this cigar and would very much so enjoy to be able to experience this premium cigar offering again. While not being the most complex cigar it provided great flavors throughout. The retro was where this blend is at with the pepper, cream, cedar and floral notes. Finish was clean AF. The petite robusto vitola is a favorite of mine and would work great in colder climates. Pick up this cigar and smoke it because Momma always said, "what is here today could be gone tomorrow." Applause." -Matt C. (Big Matt)
