With a decade in the dust Abe Flores of PDR Cigars is commemorating this achievement by introducing the new Flores y Rodriguez 10th Anniversary Reserva Limitada. This cigar has a golden brown Habano Ecuador wrapper. The binder is Dominican Olor while the filler is a seven-year aged Piloto Cubano and Nicuraguan Jalapa. Available in more classic Cuban sizes, the Robusto is 5 x 52, the Grand Toro is 6 x 54, and the Wide Churchill is 5 1/8 x 58.

Initial Impressions
Appearance: 90
“Double perfecto with a medium brown wrapper about 6 inches long. The surface is very bumpy with a lot of prominent veins. No major blemishes. The wrapper is slightly wrinkly at the head and there is a small crack in the wrapper towards the foot. No the prettiest but also not the worst looking one.” -Sandeep (Djangos)

“Nosing the wrapper gives namely cedar and faint barnyard. Nosing the foot gives the same cedar and faint barnyard with the addition of a white pepper spice. Cold draw tells dominant cedar and tongue tingling white pepper spice.” -Jiunn (jliu)

“Notes of dark tobacco and a touch of black pepper characterize most of the smoke during the first third, with a little wood coming in as the burnline approaches the second.” -Stefan (Stefan)
“Mostly tobacco and pepper until the burnline fully opens at the foot. As smoke production increases some vegetal flavors begin to develop along with a bit of burnt toast. Near the end of this third a supple leather apperas and mutes some of the pepper and char notes. Very nice.” -Gregg (McGreggor57)

“A little cedar and oak help create a soft woodsy profile. The is still some root vegetable notes on the finish. Again, there is just enough leather to really balance the flavors.” -Gregg (McGreggor57)
“The flavors haven't changed much in this third but it is very enjoyable. I'm still getting the cedar with less spice now. The citrus has changed into more of a dried fruit.” -Emmett (BMP_Emmett)

“The last third's smoking experience shows the youth of the cigar. The flavors are still in line with the second third (dominant spicy and oily pepper, charred wood, sweet cream, bread, light roasted dried nuts) but it is unfortunately overcast by a tannin rich bitterness. “The final third becomes more coffee-driven initially, after which I unfortunately start getting notes of ammonia and decide to let the remaining stogie go.” -Stefan (Stefan)

“Overall, I rate this a good cigar namely putting hopes to letting age make the cigar shine down the road. The second third was excellent but the last third proved the youth of the cigar. I'll still buy a couple singles to age in the humidor for future hope.” –Jiunn (jliu)
“One of the few stogie in recent memory that made me want to spit the nicotine out — by no means a deal-breaker for me. However, between the stem poking out at the head and the ammonia notes during the last third that made me cut smoking time short, this stogie ended up performing much more poorly than it ought to.” –Stefan (Stefan)
“Even though I found this cigar lacking a wow factor, the flavors were solid. Defined transitions between the thirds held my interest. I wouldn't grab this one for a special occasion although I would gladly smoke one again.” –Gregg (McGreggor57)
“Overall I really enjoyed this cigar. It wasn't overly complex, but it had nice transitions and the flavors were well balanced and defined.
