Initial Impressions

Appearance: 93

“A long and slender dark brown . The wrapper used on this is beautifully smooth and laid on perfectly. Lastly, it is adorned with a triple cap and twist. ” – (Bostoneo)

Aroma: 92

“Milk chocolate, cinnamon, and a bit of vanilla cream. A delicious dessert smell ” – (dfafjf)

Flavor: 92
Strength: Medium
Body/Complexity: Medium

“Who weee so much spice, it does calm rather quickly but it makes my nose run. The spice calms and allows butter to take a seat with us. Spice calmed to about a red pepper flake level now. One touch up is needed. Also a strange plumb sap bitterness that complements the profile. Things start to make a more sweet turn.” – ()

“Salt, milk chocolate, a bit of cream and some baking spices on the cold draw. Plenty of wood, coffee and chocolate flavors going on here with some creaminess.” – (irratebass)

Second Third

“Draw is tighter than i would like, but it is a . Burn has performed well since the first correction. Spice begins to kick up as the sweetness takes a seat. Profile is mostly earthy and woody.” – ()

“Still lots of chocolate and wood flavors with just enough coffee and cream to really balance it out. There is just a hint of spice to really keep my attention, this is a tasty cigar. ” – (irratebass)

Final Third

Flavor: 90
Strength: Medium-Strong
Body/Complexity: Medium-Full

“And its time for a change!. As I reached the final third, the cigar really picked up I strength, spice, and flavor. Still nothing that is amazing me but much better than how this cigar started. Red pepper spice on the tongue, charred oak, tiny bit of sweet cream, hay, and peanuts start filling out the flavor profile. ” – (dfafjf)

“Getting a bit of marshmallow flavors now and the spice has picked up a tad bit bringing it to a medium/full. It was a medium until this point. ” – (irratebass)

Draw: 85

“It was lacking but it is a common problem for lanceros so i would take that into account.” – ()

Burn: 86

“Burn was good, there was only one relight where the burn became wonky, but no complaints. ” – (irratebass)

Construction: 88

“Looked very good. I always like to see things that set a cigar aside from the rest the pig tail added some interest to smoking it” – ()

Overall Strength: Medium-Strong
Overall Body/Complexity: Medium-Full
Experience Overall: 86

“This was, unfortunately, a very straight forward and unimpressive . I believe this one was just a bit too tight to give any variety or complexity of flavors. I couldn't see smoking this one in the near future again unless the draw was opened up. Lots of potential, however it just fell short in my book. ” – (Bostoneo)

“I smoke lanceros from time to time and would keep some of these around to smoke ” – ()

“I really enjoyed this cigar. There was quite a bit of flavors going on with milk chocolate, wood, coffee, cream, spice and some marshmallow at the very end. The cigar stayed medium until the very final third where the spice kicked it up a notch. ” – (irratebass)

“Well I started 2019 off to a bad start smoking this as my first cigar. Nothing wowed me and it wasn't until the final 1/3 that I even started to enjoy the flavors. A really bad draw and a burn line that needed to be retouched throughout left me unhappy. ” – (dfafjf)
