Blind Cigar Review: Blue Mountain Cigars | El Threesome Toro

“I was honestly surprised by this cigar. When I saw the three different wrappers I was immediately a little suspicious that it was going to be what I call a “hokey” cigar. Gimmick without much to it. I was pleasantly surprised by the consistent good flavor notes and the ability of the cigar to transition fairly seamlessly into the next type of wrapper. It didn’t go from nothing to a beat down and that impressed me more than anything. It kept building in intensity but in a very mild yet noticeable way. This is a great cigar for a herf where everyone can share what they are getting from this unusual cigar configuration. I’d smoke it again!” -Diana (ArmyRN)

“I really enjoyed this cigar. There was quite a bit of flavors going on with milk chocolate, wood, coffee, cream, spice and some marshmallow at the very end. The cigar stayed medium until the very final third where the spice kicked it up a notch. ” -Mickey T. (irratebass)

“This was a decent stick with plenty of flavor transitions from third to third. The thick luxurious flavors proved ample enjoyment and relaxation. The only downside I had was with the burn as a result of an uneven construction during the first half of the cigar. Something I’d like to try again before I decide if it’s a must try….” -John A. “This was a really nice cigar. Definitely a fist cigar of the day while sitting out on your deck with your morning coffee as the sun rises up.

There was plenty of walnut flavors and just a touch of spice and black pepper. I would say this was a mild to medium plus cigar, and there was just enough sweetness that kept popping up and wasn’t in your face. ” -Mickey T. (irratebass)

“I was very surprised by this stick. After the light aromas on the prelight, the cigar was full of great flavors. It was very cubanesque from the look and vitola to the flavor. I would love to smoke this in the morning with a cup of coffee. The stick had a couple of faults but was easy to overlook because the flavor was so good. I even nubbed this thing all the way down.” -Matt (Mattehh)

“This was a nice mild to medium smoke, which only got into the straight medium in the final third. The cigar was very smooth with a small sweetness that held my attention that resembled marshmallow. I highly recommend this cigar as you first smoke of the day with morning coffee. I would like to smoke more of these.” -Mickey T. (irratebass)

Blind Cigar Review: Emilio | LJZ Robusto

“This cigar was mediocre in my opinion. There was not much complexity. Smooth notes of spice and hay were the cornerstones, but the char crept in and took over through the second and final third of the cigar. A little age might do this cigar some good, so do not give up entirely on this stick. It might grow into something very good.” -Steve (ThaGreatWazoo)

Whoever blended this cigar meant to create something special with a very flavorful mix of tobaccos that pleased my pallete immensely. “This was a really nice cigar from start to finish. Normally I’m the guy who wants the full strength and full bodied cigar that smacks me full in the face. On occasion, however, I find a cigar that reminds me of the lighter side of things and just how enjoyable that can be… This was one of those cigars. A nice mix of flavor coupled with superb construction really made my day… It definitely is getting my stamp of approval.” -Jason H. (Jokey Smurf)

“I really enjoyed smoking this cigar. The first 1/3 of the cigar was truly fantastic. Really great spice and pepper to begin mixed with hints of sweetness. If the flavors continued throughout the rest of the cigar, it would have ranked much higher for me. While the second and final 1/3 of the cigar was very good, I was missing a lot of the flavors that the cigar started out having. ” -David F. (dfafjf)
