Pre-Light Notes
Zane
The cigar is a nice dark brown color, with some small veins and a very smooth wrapper. Getting some hay and earthiness on the foot.
Mickey
This cigar is gorgeous! It offers a silky smooth milk chocolate colored wrapper. The aroma I get on the body is a light wood, and manure and milk chocolate on the foot.
First Third
Zane
The Cigar starts out with a bit of pepper up front that fades to some sweet caramel notes with a touch of bread sneaking in. Little bit of pepper on the tongue and some floral notes through the retro. Very enjoyable start.
Mickey
I get some cedar notes on the cold draw. There is a really unique flavor that I am greeted with that is wintergreen mixed with cinnamon, very nice! Wood comes in on the finish.
Second Third
Zane
The second third stays fairly similar to the first. The caramel sweetness is mostly gone but still getting the bread notes and some sweetness lingering. The sweetness I am getting is more of a faint sweetness than the richness I had in the first third. Still a great cigar. While the wrapper had split on me due to the humidity change it did not continue any further and the burn is not requiring any touch ups.
Mickey
This cigar is transitioning into more a more woody profile. Now the wintergreen is on the finish, it did a whole flip flop. Strength is right at a medium.
Final Third
Zane
The Final third transitions with a kick up in spice and a change over to some dark, rich coffee notes. A nice pickup in both flavor and strength to finish out this cigar.
Mickey
Chocolate with almonds have now joined this party along with a really nice honey flavor that coats my lips and palate.
Overall Thoughts
Zane
The Winston Churchill Limited Edition 2019 surprised me in many ways but also met my expectations. It was a bit stronger and richer than I expected. The flavors kept me interested and the cigar performed perfectly. Happy to have had the chance to smoke it!

Mickey
This cigar really surprised me with the flavors going on. It started out with wintergreen mixed with cinnamon then it transitioned into wood, chocolate and finally honey. The burn and construction were both excellent, I mean c’mon it’s Davidoff you pay for what you get. This was a very good smoke if you have the money and feel like treating yourself I highly recommend it.
