Initial Impressions
Appearance: 90
“A beautiful toro with a medium brown wrapper, large flattened veins and perfect seems with a beautiful triple cap. ” –John A. (John A.)
Aroma: 93
“Smells of wet hay, barnyard ,and hints of dark coco. Nice but nothing extraordinary. ” –David F. (dfafjf)
First Third
Flavor: 90
Strength: Medium-Strong
Body/Complexity: Medium-Full
“The cigar has quite a long warm up period, i would have to smoke a few more and see if its the same as this perticular one. It has an initial pepper blast and a bitter nastyness after about 3/4 everything makes a change for the better to medium plus and earth and dried fruit black pepper.” –Ryan H. (Ryan H.)
“The initial flavors of this cigar are somewhat dirty… With notes of earth and spicy compost. The flavors up front are not well defined and are leaving my palate feeling like I need to rinse. The finish lasts long into the next puff which in this case is unfortunate.” –Jason H. (Jokey Smurf)
Second Third
Flavor: 94
Strength: Medium-Strong
Body/Complexity: Medium-Full
“The second portion has the flavors sharpening slightly and becoming more defined. The primary flavor at this point is deep earth and black pepper which is matching the strength of the cigar perfectly. This isn’t a stick that will try to be subtle and have a quiet power… This is full strength and fully in your face in terms of power and flavor. Through the nose the smoke is sharp and has a cutting edge of spicy pepper.” –Jason H. (Jokey Smurf)
“In the begining of the second third the dried fruit and black pepper get together and make a orange zest baby along with some dark chocolate. The orange zest doesnt stay long till the profile is souly dark chocolate” –Ryan H. (Ryan H.)
Final Third
Flavor: 95
Strength: Medium
Body/Complexity: Medium-Full
“There is a tiny bit of cream and sweetness that enters into the final 1/3 of the cigar. I am enjoying this cigar much more now than at the start. Wet hay / barnyard still forefront but these added hints of flavors add a needed complexity. ” –David F. (dfafjf)
“On the retro I get a floral flavor, and heavy salt on my lips. The sweetness has returned as well.” –Mickey T. (irratebass)
Overall Impressions
Draw: 95
“Easy draw, a bit loose. ” –John A. (John A.)
Burn: 93
“The burn in this sample was excellent from beginning to end and produced nice chunks of solid light gray ash.” –Jason H. (Jokey Smurf)
Construction: 94
“Perfectly executed. ” –John A. (John A.)
Overall Strength: Medium-Strong
Overall Body/Complexity: Medium-Full
Experience Overall: 93
“A very nice creation, I am pretty much nicotine impervious so I know that would be something most wont like about this stick and a select few will love about this stick. I loved the complexity and transitions. You can tell the manufactures wanted this Cigar to stand apart from every other cigar created. Thumbs up” –Ryan H. (Ryan H.)
“Wow, this was a very flavorful smoke that left me wanting another altogether. Bright and well defined flavors set me back into smoking bliss. This is one of the best cigars I have smoked in my life!” –John A. (John A.)
“This was a very earthy smoke. I wouldn’t say spicy, just dirty. I almost gave up on it in the 2/3 because it was so earthy……all the sweetness had left it. I stuck with it though and the sweetness returned and transitioned into more floral notes and it turned into a decent smoke. This is definitely a cigar to smoke after a heavy meal” –Mickey T. (irratebass)
” Overall this was a nice cigar with added dimensions the more one smokes. For me the cigar was most enjoyable in the final 1/3. ” –David F. (dfafjf)
“Considering the beginning, which was not impressive, and the middle that sort of kicked my tail, the ending was a very pleasant surprise. If the entire cigar had smoked like the last I’d probably be knocking down the for of my local shop to find more. As it is I’m a bit turned off… Maybe another try will prove me wrong.” –Jason H. (Jokey Smurf)
