The Wayfarer idea came to life on a three week backpacking trip Carson Serino took to Iceland. While on his trip, he was searching for cigars, and while visiting shops in the Nordic country he realized that most offererings were small and mainly Cuban. “This was a nice looking cigar. A deep rich brown wrapper. A little toothy with a nice build and cap.” –Steve (ThaGreatWazoo)
Aroma: 93

First Third
Flavor: 90
Strength: Mild-Medium
Body/Complexity: Medium
“First 1/3 of the cigar is really enjoyable. Rich smokey oak mixed with nutty flavors coming through. I can’t put my finger on the slight fruity flavor I’m picking up as well. Hints of dark chocolate coming through as well. Starting out to be a very complex cigar that I’m digging. Also REALLY nice mild pepper retro hale. I typically like a lot of spice coming through the retro hale but this is just great. ” –David F. (dfafjf)
“Well smack me around a little bit, the flavor on this after being lit is much better than the what I was getting on the body & foot. I’m getting a nice wood element mixed with some sweet tobacco. ” –Mickey T. (irratebass)
Second Third
Flavor: 92
Strength: Medium
Body/Complexity: Medium
“This is a really nice smoke. No real flavor changes, but that’s ok. It’s consistent with the sweetness and wood.” –Mickey T. (irratebass)
“Burn correction needed at the begining of the second third looks like it will need baby sitting. With all the sweetness coming off this cigar makes me think it may be infused/flavored. Burn is headed wonky again.” –Ryan H. (Ryan H.)
Final Third
Flavor: 92
Strength: Medium
Body/Complexity: Medium
“The last third increases in strength but not much. The cigars profile leans more towards earth in the last third” –Ryan H. (Ryan H.)
“The final third has the leather and earth returning in spades which is is welcome and delicious. Curiously the pepper has faded entirely.” –Jason H. (Jokey Smurf)

Burn: 90
“Burn needed baby sitting the last two thirds of the cigar” –Ryan H. (Ryan H.)
Construction: 91
“Construction held up despite the nics and dings in the wrapper. Ash was a nice gray in color and held on about 1/4 of an inch.” –Mickey T. (irratebass)
Overall Strength: Medium
Overall Body/Complexity: Medium
Experience Overall: 93
“The cigar had good flavor overall experience was limited due to construction and burn. But a worth while experience none the less” –Ryan H. (Ryan H.)
“The aroma and cold draw had me semi-excited, but the overall lack of burning from the moisture and the amount of relights I had to complete made me want to get rid of this cigar quickly. I hope this was an isolated issue and others were able to enjoy, but after checking all my equipment, I do not know why it was so wet.” –Steve (ThaGreatWazoo)
“This was a very nice cigar that pleased me there was plenty of sweet tobacco mixed with wood flavors. ” –Mickey T. (irratebass)
“While this is not the best cigar I have smoked, it was complex, very flavorful, and had me wanting more. Certain flavors that I could not put my fingers on but were so enjoyable. After smoking many cigars it can be difficult to find something that just leaves me excited to know exactly what it is, and this cigar delivered. Thank you for the opportunity to smoke this.” –David F. (dfafjf)
“This was a really nice cigar from start to finish. Normally I’m the guy who wants the full strength and full bodied cigar that smacks me full in the face. On occasion, however, I find a cigar that reminds me of the lighter side of things and just how enjoyable that can be… This was one of those cigars. A nice mix of flavor coupled with superb construction really made my day… It definitely is getting my stamp of approval.” –Jason H. (Jokey Smurf)
