Aganorsa Leaf has announced a third size in their Supreme Leaf line, a corona gorda. Supreme leaf is a limited production cigar from Aganorsa leaf and usually hard to find. The corona gorda uses the same blend as the previous releases.
J&J Spirits and Aganorsa Leaf have teamed up for a second release of their Single Cask Nation cigar, this time aged in 14-year-old Tennessee Bourbon Whisky. This new release will measure 6 x 54 and is box-pressed. The blend uses a Nicaraguan Corojo wrapper and Nicaraguan filler and binder.
Aganorsa Leaf is bringing not one, but two new sizes of their Aniversario Maduro line to PCA and making one of them exclusive for attendees. The blend remains the same as least year, using 100% Aganorsa grown tobacco including their proprietary Shade Grown Corojo Maduro wrapper. The new sizes are a 6 x 54 box-pressed Toro, and a 5 3/8 x 48 box pressed Short Churchill. The boxes and bands have also been updated to showcase the Aganorsa Leaf logo, replacing the Casa Fernandez name.
Aganorsa Leaf has announced a brand new cigar, and a sequel to their successful 2021 Rare Leaf Reserve, Rare Leaf Reserve Maduro. This new cigar is exclusive to their Aganorsa Select Program members. Like the original Rare Leaf release, the company says the maduro uses select lots on their best farms that produce exemplary leaf unique in both flavor and aroma. They also claim this is the boldest cigar in the Aganorsa portfolio to date. The blend uses a San Andres Maduro wrapper, double binder, and fillers consisting entirely of Aganorsa grown tobaccos from Jalapa and Estelí.
Aganorsa Leaf has announced a partnership and new exclusive cigar for J&J Spirits, the company behind Single Cask Nation Whisky. This new cigar, simply called Single Cask Nation, is a rye cask aged premium cigar that comes in one size: a robusto in size measuring 5 1/4” x 50. The blend uses a Habano Ecuador wrapper and Nicaraguan filler and binder.
Gurkha is once again partnering with Aganorsa Leaf for a new cigar, San Miguel. This follows the last year's collaboration between Gurkha and Aganorsa their Trienta, or Thirtieth year celebration cigar.
Last years collaboration between Cigar Dojo and Aganorsa Leaf, Bonsai, has a pre-release during the Rocky Mountain Cigar Festival festivities. It launched nationwide shortly after through online retailer Payless Cigars & Pipes, which is run by Smoker Friendly, the same company that runs the festival. Aganorsa Leaf is rebranding their core lines Corojo, Maduro, Habano, and Connecticut in the new La Validación Series. The blends for the cigars remain unchanged but they have been repackaged with more prominent Aganorsa Leaf branding, and the box counts and sizes have been standardized. All four lines will now be comes in 15-count and be offered in the same three vitolas: Gran Robusto 5 x 54, Toro 6.25 x 52, and Gran Toro 6 x 58. In keeping with the original versions, all sizes will be box pressed with the exception of the Habano, which will continue to be rolled as round parejos.
