"I may have thought that this cigar was trying to hard, but it really was good. So many changes with some great mouth feel. It keeps you interested and will have something for everyone. It is a time investment but if you give it a shot you will be rewarded." -Estevan Z. (TheRealBanzi)
"This was an enjoyable cigar with distinct, easily discernible flavors which fluctuated in their prominence throughout the smoking experience. It was aided by solid construction and a lack of overall boringness. While not presenting itself as anything groundbreaking, I would certainly smoke this cigar again." -Matt Cade (CADE)
"This was a decent cigar although the lemon citrus notes almost became too much for me at one point. I enjoyed the woodiness and the hints of leafy vegetation and mild nuttiness that was there from time to time. I’d definitely try this cigar again, to re-evaluated the overall flavors and note any flavor changes with an improved draw." -Diana (ArmyRN)
"Overall, this was a very very good medium bodied smoke that anyone could enjoy with an awesome first two thirds and a decent last third that wasn’t as impressive as the first two. The natural peanut butter flavor is what sold me on this cigar, who doesn’t like the great taste of a natural creamy peanut butter oozing with oils and deliciousness? While probably not the top tier of sticks I have had, it did make quite an impression with me and is deserving of more in the future." -John A. (Bostoneo)
JR Cigar announced today a new exclusive cigar from Altadis USA, Romeo y Julieta Pasión. Pasión is rolled at the Flor de Copan factory in Honduras.
"Overall, a decent cigar with very good flavors, body, and some decent complexity. I’d smoke this one if it is affordable as an everyday smoke, but not something I’d load up on boxes with. Definitely worth checking out though!" -John A. (Bostoneo)
"Rarely is ever do I have a cigar experience that is as epic as this was. The flavors and aromas were beyond extraordinary and they worked so well together . Citrus, salted nuts, slight sweetness, and a retro so smooth it should be criminal. I'd easily give this a 98. Multi box worthy. Trust me, you're gonna enjoy this if you enjoy what time and great tobacco can do together. " -Kevin J. (maninblack77)
"Great cigar! Taste was excellent with an amazing burn. Hard to find anything wrong. The chocolate and earthiness was great. Just the right amount of bitterness to the chocolate flavors so it did not overpower the other flavors. I really enjoyed the raisins and dated in the first and second third. I would have like them to finish off the cigar however I can not complain how it finished with the rustic flavor." -Jake P. (Jake P.)
There's almost a sneaky level of nicotine that keeps building slowly the entire time. It wasn't enough to make me dizzy but I could feel that warm sensation in my stomach. The burn was pretty good but it was slightly wavy the entire time but I didn't need to touch up or relight it at any point so it had that going for it. The draw was snug but the smoke output was ample and had a creamy mouthfeel. There's not a crazy amount of flavors that will keep you guessing but the experience that it provides is very solid and almost the classic Nicaraguan experience I look for in this style.
" Where I was unimpressed by the first third of this cigar, it won me over in the end. All the flavors came together to create a wonderful smoking experience. If you are a fan of dark, earthy flavors with hints of sweetness you should pick up a few of these to enjoy. " -Estevan Z. (TheRealBanzi)
