Aganorsa Leaf has announced a new exclusive line for Aganorsa Select Partners: Rare Leaf Reserve. This new line uses select lots on their best farms that produce low yields of leaf unique in both flavor and aroma. Rare Leaf Reserve is comprised entirely of Aganorsa tobacco. The blend uses a café wrapper leaf from Jalapa, double binder and filler tobaccos of mostly Criollo 98 with a just touch of Corojo 99.
"The fact there was not much going on in the flavor and body of this cigar until almost halfway deducted points here, although it did develop into a very flavorful cigar. Had the cigar started as it finished, and developed as it did, it would have been a phenomenal smoking experience. Even though it did start off on the light side, I really do look forward to trying it again. This would be a great cigar to start the day with, as it does end up flavorful and can easily be smoked first thing on an empty stomach. Medium roast coffee with cream or sweet tea would be the strongest beverage to try and pair in the morning, as anything stronger would easily overrun it, even at the end. Good flavors can be found, at times, but not overly complex that it will keep you from whatever you are trying to accomplish. The name keeps the tradition of law enforcement, “When we do projects with shops we try our best to personalize that project to that specific shop. We do this to totally immerse the shop and it’s spirit into the project. Here the Shop is called Caravan Cigar Company because the company started doing mobile cigar events at fairs out of the back of the family Caravan. We looked at the concept of a Caravan and tried to see how we could relate it to the law enforcement world. That’s how The Paddy Wagon was born,” said Juan Cancel.
