This was a great cigar! I don't get into the hype of $30, $50 or even $100 cigars, but this Atabey Spiritus was amazing! The draw was a bit snug, but I can't blame that on the the cigar I don't think. This was given to my by the BMP's staff to review. The construction was spot on, but by the end of the second half the head started to come off a bit, again that might have been my user and I just got it too wet. Overall this cigar greeted me with lots and lots of sweetness with hay, and honey. It tipped the scales of medium, but just barely and only briefly. This was an elegant cigar that could be enjoyed at any time of the day, but I think in the morning would be the best or late at night as your last cigar of the day. They are not inexpensive, but if you get the chance I cannot recommend Atabey enough.
Overall, this was a tremendous smoke, not even taking into account the fact that it's pretty young and hasn't been released yet. I can only imagine how these will be in 6 months or a year. The draw and burn were both spot on and I had no issues with construction. I think Jon Huber has struck gold again with this release and I will definitely pick up a box for myself.

·This cigar really surprised me with the flavors going on. It started out with wintergreen mixed with cinnamon then it transitioned into wood, chocolate and finally honey. The burn and construction were both excellent, I mean c’mon it’s Davidoff you pay for what you get. This was a very good smoke if you have the money and feel like treating yourself I highly recommend it.
This cigar was so much better after a couple months of rest. When I first smoked it, I knew it was good, but not as special as I hoped. This time it was special. This 20th Anniversary Opus is nothing like the regular opus. It is medium bodied and nuanced, not in your face strength. The construction was almost perfect and the flavors were balanced. I only look forward to how this will age years on. Definitely recommend if you can find them.
This is such a handsome cigar, it was so well constructed. From the wrapper to the roll it was picture perfect. There were no soft spots, burn issues, and the draw was perfect. The ever changing profile kept me fully engaged. This is more of a medium flavor profile with a just slightly above mild strength. If I'm being very nitpicky I personally would have liked a slightly thicker smoke; but it was in no way thin or wispy. From a price stand point this is definitely more of a special occasion cigar but I would highly recommend one.
The Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure No 2 Reserva Cosecha 2012 is the latest in the annual line of Reserva cigars to be released from Habanos S.A. It was debuted on the first night of the 18th Habanos Festival on February 29th. These are some of the most exclusive and expensive cigars that come out of Cuba. Hoyo de Monterrey was the only national brand to not have a Reserva release prior to this year.
You get what you pay for here. A unique experience with clean defined flavors that were perfectly well balanced throughout the entirety of the duration of this ultra premium cigar. Complexity is unmatched to any cigar I’ve ever had making this smoke a dream. Construction and draw were phenomenal however this particular sample had some issues with the burn line until the second half where it caught up. Because of the fullness and richness of this medium to medium full bodied smoke, it is not something you’ll reach for (providing you have the available funds) everyday. This cigar is meant for those special occasions when you want something that screams quality in terms of very rich flavor that is defined, unique and unmatched to any other stick. Whilst not my sweet spot for flavor profiles, as it was a tad too sweet for me, this definitely goes into my top echelon of cigars I have ever enjoyed.
Amazing would be an understatement for this fine luxurious smoke. Ample amounts of complexity and well balanced medium bodied flavors were extracted and deeply appreciated as the blender really knows how to make a grade A smoke. I cannot sing praises high enough... you MUST... in fact I demand you to buy a Bespoke Basilica A and experience what this cigar has to offer... you will be forever spoiled.

·This cigar seemed to come with a lot of hype. Wow, did it deliver. From the subtle changes back and forth in the flavor profile to the smooth draw, this cigar just exceeded expectations in every aspect. I smoked the corona vitola and my only concern was that it did not last longer. Get these if you can. I know I will.
"I really liked this cigar. My only complaints were the somewhat muddy flavors of the final third and the stick's overall average smoke production. The flavors of this smoke were very well-blended and played off of one another really well. I really liked the sweetness in the flavor profile because it was never cloying or ordinary -- always buttressed by cedar and toast. The performance of this lancero was surprisingly stellar. With a medium strength and perfectly complex body, this stick would pair well with a sweet tea after lunch, or, because of the cigar's slightly-sweet profile, a fresh vanilla milkshake." -Ryan (Youngryan216)
