Emilio Cigars is bringing back their Limited Edition La Musa brand, marking its first return since Black Label Trading Company took over the brand. It was first announced before the IPCPR trade show in 2019, and is now shipping. La Musa originally made its debut back in 2010 when the brand was run by Gary Griffith.
The artwork and blend were created by James Brown, owner of Black Label Trading Company. He said, “I am very excited to give La Musa a makeover in both appearance and flavor. The artwork is dope and inspired the the blend of the cigar. It’s a Nicaraguan puro with a very refined, medium bodied profile and layers of complex flavors.”
La Musa is shipping now and will be available for puyrchase this month. It is rolled at James Brown‘s Fabrica Oveja Negra in Estelí, Nicaragua. The blend uses a Nicaraguan Habano wrapper, Nicaraguan Habano binder, and filler from Nicaragua. It comes in two sizes: Robusto – 5×50 (25 count) MSRP $10.50, and Toro – 6×50 (25 count) MSRP $11.00.
