Quality Importers Trading Co launched a new cutter at the PCA trade show earlier this month. The Xikar Revolution is a new kind of rotary action cigar cutter that features synchronized stainless steel blades and power-assisted cutting action.
The new cutter will come in two regular production finishes, black with stainless steel blades and silver with black stainless steel blades, as well as a limited edition Rose Gold with black stainless steel blades of which only 250 will be sold. The limited edition is finished in 22K Rose Gold and are individually numbered. The regular production Revolution has an MSRP of $159.99. The limited edition rose gold color will run $249.99. Both ship this month.
The new cutter design can accommodate ring gauges up to 70. The focus of the cutter is on one-handed operation. The user can align their cut with one hand and one finger in the provided hole, then simply let go to cut the cigar and the blades snap shut.
