"I thought this was a great cigar. I enjoyed the bigger ring gage on this cigar, It had a great feel in your hand. I felt this cigar smoked just liked it smelled. It was very wood heavy with a honey sweetness. It was on the milder side on strength but I feel that even someone who leans to a stronger cigar would enjoy this cigar." -Jake P. (Jake P.)
"Very full bodied and flavored from begging to end. It's certainly not pretty in terms of construction and the draw was way too loose but if you're looking for a heavy hitting cigar this is a good choice. This is good size since the profile never had any dynamic shifts but I'm not sure how I would have felt if this was in a gordo size. " -Alan (Eulogy)
"While I typically do not prefer cigars that are "one dimensional", I do appreciate ones that have minimal transitions, with outstanding representations of the flavors that are there. This is one of those cigars. My only complaint is this was a relatively fast burner. It was one that I wished I had a toro version of, cause I wasn't ready to be done when the nub got to hot to hold! The original Mule Kick debuted back in 2012 as a limited extension to the Four Kicks line. It used a higher priming Habano wrapper and a slightly tweaked internal blend. Production was limited to 5,000 sticks. That original Mule Kick blend was be re-released in 2017, and then there were subsequent releases in 2018 and 2019 featuring Connecticut Habano maduro and Ecuador Sumatra wrappers respectively.
"Although this particular cigar was very light bodied and had a very open draw, I enjoyed it a lot. This would make an excellent morning cigar to pair with a light coffee or hot tea. In the afternoon, pair with a light pilsner or kolsch beer. " -James H. (Keikan Jim)
"Really excellent cigar. A bit larger format than I usually reach for, but the super sexy raggedy foot, and the pigtail cap really got my heart racing when I first saw this. Construction was exceptional throughout, and the overall flavor profile was really enjoyable. Nice sweet and super ripe tobacco on point here along with flirtations with some spice, espresso, and pepper along the way. Magnificent cigar. " -John I. (John I.)
"Before lighting up a stogie I always say “please PLEASE don’t give me a boring cigar!” and this sucker is far from boring. It constantly keeps you on your toes with flavors coming and going and then coming around the bend again. I will be buying a box of whatever these are, it’s a damn impressive cigar. ·"A cigar I hated to lose in the process of smoking. Great notes of cherry, earth, leather, cocoa, and oak make this a excellent cigar. Great ash that hung on to the cigar for 30 minutes or better. Five or more of these cigar would round out your humidor perfectly." -Sean F. (fullermaine)

·"My first impressions were negative due to the size of the cigar. Eliminating my bias towards that was easy once I started smoking the cigar. It really was a pleasant and long experience. This is still not necessarily going to be a first choice smoke for me but I can say it was flavorful enough all the way through to work for a niche smoke at the right time for me. Well constructed and good looking, I’d revisit this cigar again." -Diana (ArmyRN)
"While there was a little bit of concern from the mid-point on, all in all this cigar offered a very pleasant smoking experience. The transitions from start to finish were well defined and each complimented the next. It is firmly in the medium full range in strength and body, and would be most enjoyed by smokers with a little experience under their belt to truly appreciate what the cigar has to offer. This is definitely a cigar I would like to smoke again. " -Kevin A. (Kevin A.)
