"The flavor profile on this one wasn’t normally something I’d go for, but it certainly wasn’t offensive or bad. It was well-balanced up until the final third. It didn’t get unhinged at that point, just lost some of the sweetness until the very end. There was a decent amount of complexity, and the transitions flowed smoothly and made sense. It performed well, with very little attention needed. I probably won’t stock up on these, but I can think of several people I’d recommend it to." -Chris M. (Chris)
"Fairly one dimensional with a flavor profile hovering around sweet and leathery. All of that was nice enough, but definitely a milder cigar than I generally prefer. I wouldn't be to quick to seek out more of these, but it would serve as a decent enough experience for a cigar novice. " -John I. (John I.)
"If you are looking for a deep, heavy-flavored blend without being too strong this is perfect. The mix of leather and hickory smoke held a solid taste throughout the entire cigar.
An opening of a bit of cedar sweetness, and some final pepper and mineral flavor add a bit of complexity to keep it interesting. I'll absolutely revisit this in the future." -Lauren S. (Lauren S.)
"Overall, I would say, this was an excellent cigar. Although the flavors did not transition much from third to third, considering I enjoyed all of these flavors it was very pleasing. I would definitely recommend this to individuals who, like a little bit bolder of a cigar, considering it was medium to full throughout most of the cigar." -Angel M. (Angel)
"I've got to say that this cigar worked for me. I admired it visually, and the profile combinations worked right into my wheelhouse. It was interesting for me, because I really did just find myself enjoying the session more than typical. If it wasn't for the fact that the cigar did burn quickly, I could have easily spent closer to three hours smoking it instead of the less than two hours it took. If you're a big fan of baking spices or cherry, I would highly suggest you check this one out. And if you end up not liking it, just send the rest my way to dispose of for you." -Doug S. "This was a good cigar that offered some good sweet notes of cherries and chocolate. Nothing fancy or overly complex. Just straight-forward flavors. It would make for a nice after-dinner cigar, paired with a moderate proofed bourbon or rye. " -Doug S. (Unpossible_1)
"This cigar was right in my wheelhouse as far as flavors go. Lots of earth, dark chocolate, leather, coffee and some black cherry and walnut notes. This is definitely one of the better maduros I've enjoyed lately and I am anxious to see what it is. Highly recommended for fans of full flavored, full bodied smokes." -Kevin J. (maninblack77)
"This cigar has the holidays in it. With notes of oak, dark chocolate, toasted marshmallow, peanuts, and cedar. A very delicious cigar. Perfection from start to finish, with only a minor touch up needed. This would be a cigar I'd share with friends to bring in the holidays. A cigar I'd like to have in my humidor." -Sean F. ·"Such a fantastic experience in terms of flavor, construction, and smoke texture. I could easily see this becoming a mainstay in my smoking rotation. If you like bold cigars with a good hit of nicotine this is a home run." -Alan (Eulogy)
"While the flavors weren't mindblowing or unique, they were very enjoyable when judged as a whole. A wide range of flavors including milk chocolate, leather, oaky woodiness, and earth really hit my palate right in the sweet spot. I'd love to smoke this again, perhaps in a smaller vitola to really get the flavors from the wrapper to shine." -Kevin J. (maninblack77)
