"If the burn hadn't been so impossible to deal with, this would have been quite a decent cigar. The blend had some pleasant flavors, and the smoke output was on point. Unfortunately, the burn just knocked it down several notches for me. I'm hopeful that this was just a fluke, and the other sticks burn perfectly, but mine just did not." -Nate H. (SineQuaNon)
"The intensity of this cigar surprised the heck out of me; based on the sweet scents I picked up initially, I was shocked when the flavor and strength hit me in the face like a 2x4, and didn't relent during the vast majority of the smoke. I like strong, and even though I generally prefer cigars that have a bit more depth, this was very enjoyable. Vitamin N is strong with this one, so make sure to keep as sweet beverage on hand if you're sensitive to nicotine. I'd highly recommend this cigar to people who enjoy strong smokes, and strong drinks." -Nate H. (SineQuaNon)

·"I knew from the look and smell of this cigar I was in for a treat and it didn't disappoint. Premium cigars should just preform this well in terms of construction, smoke output, and flavor. I think if there was just a bit more dynamic flavor profile changes it would have put it over the top. Still there's so much here to like I have to recommend picking up a fiver and just enjoying a terrific cigar. " -Alan (Eulogy)

·"This is a very calm, but satisfying smoke; something I would enjoy in the morning with a medium-roast cup of coffee, or even just water. When I take a steady puff, the flavor arrives, does it's thing, and then goes on it's way, without lingering too long on the palate. I'm generally not a fan of mild cigars, but I like this one quite a bit. " -Nate H. (SineQuaNon)
From start to finish, this was a truly special cigar. The amount of thought, care, and dedication to the craft of cigar creation/production that was evident in this stick gives great credit to RoMa and all the many hands that it took to get it from seed to my ashtray. Throughout, the draw and burn were impeccable; I wish every cigar was made this well. The flavor was always distinct, never harsh, and yet always subtly familiar given it's background. Though it saddens me to have burned such an amazing example of art and craft, and removed it from the world, I'm also thankful to have experienced something so unique and carefully produced. The remaining ones I have will be saved for truly special occasions.

·"If you are a fan of mild cigars this is a real winner. The depth of flavors were terrific, smoke output was phenomenal, and profile changes kept me engaged. I would certainly smoke this again and again. " -Alan (Eulogy)
"Though a milder cigar, the flavors were interesting enough to keep me satisfied throughout the experience; I wouldn't hesitate to smoke another one of these, given the opportunity. Would pair well with medium-roast coffee or a nice porter or lager. " -Nate H. (SineQuaNon)
I'll preface this by admitting full well that I don't generally enjoy larger RG cigars, and typically smoke 46RG and below. That being said, this cigar blew my mind. I've always had fondness for the Neanderthal line, and with this cigar, I think Skip and Mike finally distilled their goal into the perfect package. It's squat and buff, in your face and unrelenting, and yet you keep wanting to come back for more. My total smoke time was 1 hour 55 minutes, but with a nubbing tool I could have squeezed another 10-15 minutes out of it; very impressive for such a short cigar. If you're a fan of strong cigars with a complex variety of flavors, regardless of vitola preference, I recommend you get your hands on one of these as soon as you can.

·"This was a highly enjoyable cigar, and one that I would never turn down if given the opportunity to smoke again. The flavors might have been muddled, but very pleasing; despite having to remove a plug (which I truly believe to be a fluke) the burn and draw were darn near perfect. This was a truly quality cigar..." -Nate H. (SineQuaNon)
"I am going to give this a fair rating cause the first third was so good. If the cigar stayed on that course it would have been a top cigar for me. Construction can really ruin the experience. " -Matt H. (Mattehh)
