Davidoff of Geneva USA, the US based subsidiary of Oettinger Davidoff AG, has named new heads of Marketing and Commercial today. The two appointees come from promotions within the organization. Lana Fraser is now the Head of Marketing for Davidoff of Geneva Americas and Jeffrey Guagliardo is now Head of Sales for Davidoff of Geneva USA. These two new positions replace Dylan Austin who previously had the dual role of Head of Sales and Marketing but was promoted to President of Davidoff of Geneva USA in March of this year.
Warped Cigars has announced a new brand, the first size of which will be an exclusive cigar for R. Field Wine Co in Hawaii: Eagles Descent. The new brand will launch this November at a R. Field Wine event in an exclusive size. Then, in 2020, the brand will be released in its other sizes nationwide.

After facing backlash from manufacturers, retailers, and media about their proposed cigar convention next year, CigarCon, the PCA (formerly IPCPR) has cancelled the event, for next year at least. The association says they are still considering if for 2021. They have also created a sub-committee to focus on CigarCon in the hopes of planning it in the future.
Maya Selva Cigars is releasing their third annual cigar celebrating the Chinese New Year. This year's edition is the YEAR OF THE RAT. The design line brings together traditional Chinese patterns and Mayan hieroglyphics. The Rat is the first of the 12-year cycle of animals that represent the Chinese zodiac. Cavalier Genève announced today the shipment of their annual limited edition cigars to the United States. This year comes the LE2019.
Drew Estate announced today that their new 20th Anniversary ACID cigar would be shipping to retailers nationwide. The cigar comes in chrome boxes of 24 and was shown off at IPCPR 2019. The cigar comes in one size, a 5 x 52 box-pressed robusto. The blend of ACID 20 uses a Mexican San Andres capa, with Indonesian binder, and filler leaves from Nicaragua. The company has not disclosed the the infusion, but say it "is truly worthy of the double decade title." It sells for $230.40.
The limited edition perfecto, Undercrown Shade SUPREMA, is shipping today to Drew Diplomat Retailers Nationwide. SUPREMA was shown off at IPCPR 2019 and is a 6 x 50-54 perfecto.
