La Flor Dominicana will debut a new brand at next week's IPCPR trade show that pays homage to Uruguay's tango heritage, while also bringing back an old favorite that longtime fans will recognize.
La Flor Dominicana announced the La Flor Dominicana Experience in a press release yesterday:
We are proud to announce the launch of our new retailer and consumer factory and farm experience "The La Flor Dominican Experience." This experience will give our valued retailers and loyal consumers the opportunity of a lifetime to experience the Dominican Republic through La Flor Dominicana premium cigars! This journey is from seed to cigar with one of the industry leaders in quality, consistency and vertical integration. These trips will be scheduled around our tobacco growing seasons as to best experience the entire process.

Royal Agio Cigars USA has announced that their latest collaboration with La Flor Dominicana, Balmoral Serie Signaturas Paso Doble, is shipping. Last year Balmoral teamed up with E.P. Carrillo for the Balmoral Serie Signaturas DUETO, the first cigar of the Serie Signaturas. The company has said there will be more collaborations like this in the future, but did not say when or how many.
The Special Football edition from La Flor Dominicana is back, and this time will be available exclusively to Georgia retailers. The Special Football Edition ships early January 2019. The 2019 offering will feature their special Limited Edition Factory Press vitola. Last year is was a torpedo vitola that looked like a football.

Quite a bit of flavors going on at the start but this mellows out into a standard flavor profile as the pure strength of this smoke overwhelmed what other complexities there could have been.
