"Though this cigar was very one dimensional, in my opinion, it was well worth the investment of time. It would pair perfectly with an amaretto heavy cocktail or some fresh almond pastry. If you are a fan of medium body cigars with wonderful construction then this would be the cigar for you. Grab one and give it a shot." -Estevan Z. (TheRealBanzi)
"Overall, it was an okay smoke, no frills for me at least. If you like earthy notes with some pepper and char, this will be right up your alley. Little gave in way of sweetness save the grassy notes in the beginning that quickly faded halfway through. Draw issues with it being too tightly rolled made smoking it at times a chore, however all in all, eh, try it… you might like it, you might not, you be the judge…" -John A. (Bostoneo)
"Overall, not a bad tasty cigar, definitely slightly above average if smoked correctly, slow and low. The loose draw made this one smoke rather quickly, 55 minutes to be exact, and forced the smoker to slow down and sip this sample. The creamy notes of almonds, leather, peanut shells, and wood complimented each other very nicely and provided a well-balanced experience. I believe this would only be amplified with a better constructed cigar and would be improved immensely. " -John A. (Bostoneo)
"The cigar started off well, developed nicely, then finished with a slight harshness that wasn't quite enjoyable. It heated up quite a bit in the final third. Maybe smoking it slower would eliminate this, but I am not 100% sure. All in all a decent smoke. The power behind it as it transitioned through the final two thirds was a bit of a surprise, and may prove too strong for a newer smoker. I was expecting it to stay in the medium range with the sweeter notes from the beginning." -Kevin A. (Kevin A.)
"Magnificent cigar. I'm not a boxed press enthusiast, but I really enjoyed this one despite the format. The flavors nailed a lot of my personal preferences featuring loads of creaminess, leather; ranging from soft and supple to bold and aggressive, and throughout offered a balanced sweetness. Additional notes of mineral and salt played against the sweet creaminess nicely. " -John I. (John I.)
"This is a cigar that is for sure "meaty". The flavor profile, while not overly strong, persey, is solid. Right at the top of the Med/Full range in strength and body. Smoking this made me want to prep a Tomahawk steak for the grill. This would be a good pairing with a steak dinner for sure, as well as a nice smoky Single Malt. It produces copious amounts of smoke that you can "chew"! It is a big, cigar, so make sure that you set aside a good 2 hours to smoke it. Definitely a cigar for more experienced smokers, and something I will definitely keep in my humidor" -Kevin A. (Kevin A.)
"While I wasn't all that impressed with this cigar at the beginning it really came to life in the second third. Once that happened I was really into the cigar. The transition into the second third came rapidly, and I'm sure my expression and happiness at that time was visible to anyone around. Even thirty minutes after smoking this cigar, the remains were still felt and tasted on my lips, and I was pretty darn close to heaven. This is something I can easily place into my rotation. And man does it burn for a long time." -Isaac M. (The Nothing)
"Featuring very little in the way of complexity and with only some minor transitions throughout the smoking experience, I won’t go so far as to say this is a boring cigar. Rather this was a fine cigar featuring fine flavors and fine construction. That’s it, it was just “fine” all around. " -Matt Cade (CADE)
"The flavors never changed from beginning to end but it was a pretty unique experience in terms of flavor. There's only a few cigars that remind me of that sort of fermented grain flavor of beer and that's what I tasted from start to finish. The smoke output and construction were spot on and it's hard to find fault with anything. If you the taste of beer this might be something to try." -Alan (Eulogy)
"Overall, this was an okay stick, however not something I myself would seek out. While it was fairly consistent in flavor, it did switch up things to a slight sweeter note on the second half. This would pair wonderfully with a port wine, porter & stout beer with its robust flavors and sweetness options they provide. Burn, construction and draw were spot on for this sample and couldn’t of asked for much better. If you like dark, char, and a bit of chocolate covered cherry sweetness, check out this blend for your enjoyment!" -John A. (Bostoneo)
