Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust StillWell Star Bayou No. 32 – Blind Cigar Review

"Overall this was a great cigar that gave me plenty of flavor transitions with leather, coffee, peanuts, cocoa, and cream, and even threw in some fruit flavors to round it all together. The cigar started out earthy and medium in strength and then developed into a more creamy sweet smoke with a mild to medium strength. I would happily smoke this again and I encourage you to seek these out. I feel this cigar can be enjoyed in the morning with your coffee.....or during your lunch, and even an after-dinner smoke. "The overall notes were smooth and sweet. With hints of a peppery bite on the tongue. The cigar transitioned beautifully from a sweet cedar to a warm bready, cabinet slice delight. Each third of the cigar revealed its beautiful constitution with great transitional changes over the course of the smoke. "Looking at a cigar like this, you kind of feel like you know what you're going to get. And sometimes it's nice when that holds true if it is something you typically enjoy. Good and hearty, with rich bold flavors make for a great session in the cold weather. Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust StillWell Star Aromatic No. 1 – Blind Cigar Review

"This was a very sweet deep dark chocolate fruity smoke. I don't often like sweet smoking cigars but this one was very enjoyable. The retrohale was very different with complex sweetness, red pepper bursts, and pipe tobacco flavor to it. I would really like to have a couple more of these to try and possibly consider added to my humidor. For the blind tasting I had a Mexican mineral water but I believe a good bourbon or peaty scotch would pair excellently with this smoke." -Chad M. (Chad Tchad)

"All around a great cigar. The flavor profile could have had a bit more of an evolution, but the core flavors were quite enjoyable though out and the retrohale provided a nice change from the standard draw. The creaminess of the smoke could have been a little more consistent as parts of the cigar produced thick creamy clouds but a lot of the time it was a little but thin. Overall a very good cigar that I would definitely smoke again. " -Alan (Eulogy)
