The recently appointed Forged Cigars Creative director Matt Booth has teamed up with STG's Justin Andrews to refresh the Los Statos Deluxe brand. The new blend is being rolled at STG’s HATSA factory in Danlí, Honduras, and was shown off in the Room101 booth at PCA last week.
"There were a lot of flavors to this cigar, however, they just didn't seem to match each other or blend well together. This smoke was a salty, cedar flavor but there was a sharp piney flavor that was harsh at times." -Chad M. (Chad Tchad)
Carlito Fuente (Arturo Fuente Cigars) and Jorge Padrón (Padrón Cigars) have finally announced details about their collaboration announced nearly two years ago. The new project will be shown in full detail at the PCA Trade Show on Sunday July 10, 2022 at 3:30 pm.
"A great cigar for those that like coffee. Impeccable construction with a nice even burn and mellow smoke throughout the experience. The initial sweetness prepares the palate to accept the bitterness that coffee brings." -Jai P. (Jai)
Lampert Cigars will be showing off its latest line later this week at PCA 2022. The Lampert Family Reserve 2021 is a limited release blended by Hendrik Kelner Jr. and rolled at the Kelner Boutique Factory (KBF).
"This was a very sweet deep dark chocolate fruity smoke. I don't often like sweet smoking cigars but this one was very enjoyable. The retrohale was very different with complex sweetness, red pepper bursts, and pipe tobacco flavor to it. I would really like to have a couple more of these to try and possibly consider added to my humidor. For the blind tasting I had a Mexican mineral water but I believe a good bourbon or peaty scotch would pair excellently with this smoke." -Chad M. (Chad Tchad)

The cigar is rolled by Quesada Cigars in the Dominican Republic. The blend uses a Dominican wrapper, Dominican binder, and Nicaraguan and Dominican fillers.
