The newest cigar from Casa Cuevas, La Mandarria, is now shipping. As I'm finishing up this cigar, I'm not sure if people really care about what someone thinks about an Acid. People that hate flavored cigars aren't going to want to try it and people that love Acids are going to want to smoke one regardless of what I thought about it. I'm not a flavored cigar smoker but I can recognize a quality cigar when I smoke one. Even if it's not really in my wheelhouse, it a well made cigar. The burn, construction, and draw are all top notch. The flavors are interesting albeit not subtle. Go and give one a shot.
XIKAR showed off a new cutter at this year's IPCPR trade show, the Ensō. THe Ensō is a double-guillotine cigar cutter whose name comes from Japanese culture in which the ensō is a minimalist circle drawn in one stroke at a moment of clarity of the mind.

·"Fantastic cigar in one of my favorite vitolas. Not really flashy in terms of serious flavor transitions, but the core flavors were magnificent, and right up my alley. I'd happily smoke these on a very regular basis. " -John I. (John I.)

·"I really enjoyed a lot of the flavors that I got from this. Leather, cedar, sweet cream, cola, and grain were all pretty nice. The green juice flavor was a bit off from the rest of the profile and the draw was very poor. It's still interesting and I would give it another shot to see if the draw was better. " -Alan (Eulogy)

·"This was a very enjoyable experience! Flavors were on point throughout and in my wheelhouse. Lots of dry cocoa and milk chocolate. I would definitely smoke these again. Box worthy in my opinion." -Kevin J. (maninblack77)
