Blind Cigar Review: Padilla | Single Batch Perfecto

“It was full enough to keep me puffing, but mild enough for an adventurous noob to stretch their horizons. I’ve seen one other cigar that looked like this, so maybe I can guess what it is, but I can assure you that I’ll have more of these when the reveal happens!” –Jason H. (Jokey Smurf)

Blind Cigar Review: #Famous | Toro

"I personally did not have any problems with this cigar but it never captured my interest or cigar repertoire . The cigar seemed to be infused and the transitions were nil. I would recommend this cigar to the novice or first time cigar smoker as she/he will be able to immediately define flavors even from the cold draw, and those flavors remain consistent and constant throughout the whole cigar experience." -Matt C. Blind Cigar Review: Manolo Estate | Connecticut Gran Fino Robusto

“This is definitely a first cigar of the day type of smoke. I would even smoke this cigar on an empty stomach first thing in the morning, as the flavors present are so damn good, I digress. The honey, cinnamon, cedar and nut notes makes this a cigar aficionados dream and it is right in my wheelhouse. Bravo. I put the cigar down with less than an inch left.” –Matt C. (Big Matt)

Blind Cigar Review: Quesada | Reserva Privada Oscuro Robusto

"This is a cigar I would happily smoke again while I was doing something different to occupy my time such as shooting skeet or at the golf driving range. The profile peaked in the second third but then fell off with the mineral flavors in the final third. I put the cigar down with a little less than 2 inches as I felt the profile wasn't going to change. Smoke output was plentiful and stormed off the foot. I feel this cigar might improve with age and is worthy of a redux." -Matt C. (Big Matt)

Blind Cigar Review: Ramon Bueso | Olancho Vintage Torpedo

“This is a cigar that I could see myself giving to a novice or a seasoned cigar smoker. The seasoned bloke will enjoy the change in pace of flavors presented on sample 529 and the novice will become introduced into the world of what a premium cigar can offer. This is a cigar that could be smoked and enjoyed after several other offerings as the profile is bold and evident. Construction was top-notch and however many hundred or thousand hands it touched before coming to fruition, it was worth it.” –Matt C. (Big Matt)

Blind Cigar Review: Villiger | San’Doro Claro Toro

“If you are looking for a well constructed Connecticut shade cigar this might be it. This cigar reminded me of a lighter version of the Quesada 40th Corona Clasica. The fruit on the retrohale mixed in with the pepper and cinnamon on the palate and the sweetness in the back of the throat were all very enjoyable. I easily recommend this cigar if your palate yearns for flavors in the mild strength category with body and complexity that hold up and build throughout the whole experience.” –Matt C. (Big Matt)

"Overall, this is a very good cigar that will only benefit with a little more humidor time, say 3-6 months. I think this cigar might incorporate an Ecuadorian wrapper, due to the flavor profile (grass) however with its rosado shade it has me second guessing myself. I would easily recommend this cigar to a cigar newbie (on a full stomach) or a seasoned cigar enthusiast. This is a smoke I hope to get the chance to reach for again and again." -Matt C. (Big Matt)

Blind Cigar Review: George Rico | S.T.K. Miami Zulu Zulu Mas Paz Edition Connecticut

"The draw, burn and construction were outstanding for this beautiful looking cigar. The flavors, while not in my wheelhouse, were solid and well balanced for the first two thirds. The returning cedar and spice near the end came close to becoming harsh. This cigar might benefit from additional rest. Give me another one, however, and I will gladly smoke it." -Gregg (McGreggor57)
