Artista Cigars, now formerly El Artista Cigars, has announced a full rebranding of the company and new lines for PCA 2022 this week.
Foundation Cigars has announced a brand new core line to be shown off at the PCA 2022 trade show next week. The new line is called "Olmec" and is expected to ship late summer/early fall. Foundation Olmec comes in boxes of 12 and in two wrapper choices: San Andrés Maduro and Claro.
Tim Ozgener is returning to the cigar industry. He spent 16 years with CAO International, serving as President from 2006-2010, and was instrumental in taking the company from a start-up to a global brand. This is also the place where Crowned Heads founder Jon Huber got his start. For the past 12 years, Tim has served as Co-Founder and President/CEO of OZ Arts Nashville, a contemporary arts center in Nashville.
Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG) and PCA have both announced that STG will be returning as an exhibitor to the 2023 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) trade show which takes place on July 7-11 at the Venetian Convention Center in Las Vegas. STG will now feature the entire Forged Cigar Company portfolio at the show via the booth space that was originally purchased by Alec Bradley. STG Acquired Alec Bradley last month. The brands now distributed by Forged include Alec Bradley, Room101, Partagas, La Gloria Cubana, Diesel, Bolivar Cofradia, El Rey del Mundo and Chillin’ Moose.
E.P. Carrillo Cigars has announced Allegiance for the PCA Trade Show starting this week, and is the first E.P. Carrillo cigar rolled outside of Tabacalera La Alianza. The new cigar will launch in October and is rolled at the Oliva Cigar Co. factory in Nicaragua.
Lampert Cigars will be showing off its latest line later this week at PCA 2022. The Lampert Family Reserve 2021 is a limited release blended by Hendrik Kelner Jr. and rolled at the Kelner Boutique Factory (KBF).
ATL Cigar Co is making a few changes to their core lines ATL Magic, ATL Black and ATL Libertad to be shown off at the PCA Trade Show next week.
Plasencia Cigars is adding a new vitola to their Alma Fuerte Colorado Claro line. Previously, it had only been available in the Sixto I size, a hexagonally pressed 6 x 60. Now a new size, the Eduardo I vitola is being added and is a box pressed toro that measures 6 1/4 x 54. Pre-orders will be taken at the PCA trade show next week in Las Vegas.
