"It's hard for me to assign a top rating to any cigar, and I try to reserve the highest mark for something really wondrous. This is about as close to cigar perfection for me as I can imagine. Big bold flavors with a lot of strength. Packs a punch but the potency was never over the top and the overall balance between strength and flavor was really thoroughly impressive. " -John I. "This was a decent smoke for me. The cigar had a lot of flavor notes that I like such as leather, coffee and cocoa. The added hickory and campfire were nice also. I sort of wish the initial mix of spice and mixed peppers would’ve stayed on longer, albeit in the background. The cigar became more monotone for me as it progressed but it still remained a tasty smoke and I would definitely revisit it again with a nice espresso or Cuban coffee." -Diana (ArmyRN)
“This cigar, based on looks alone, was one that I was anticipating. The best part is that it didn’t disappoint. Fuller flavored. Fuller bodied. Just what I was expecting. The flavor of this cigar was spot on, for me, to the point that I was easily able to forgive the burn problems. I found that this cigar lighted to be smoked, and not set down to rest, which was fine because I didn’t want to put it down.” –Isaac M. (The Nothing)
"Man, this was a fun cigar. I have to blame myself for the performance at the beginning, even if it did feel and look ok. Once I gave it the deeper cut, this cigar was awesome. The savory flavors kept me attached the whole way through. There was a lot more complexity in the first third that seemed to tone down through the rest of the cigar; I really wish it just kept going. " -Isaac M. (The Nothing)
"Really impressive cigar, the initial blast of flavor was exceptional. The sweetness toward the middle became a little bit monotonous, but the deep rich flavors throughout the final were excellent." -John I. (John I.)
"This is another cigar that hits my profile perfectly. A deep chocolatey Maduro with savory flavors and a lot of spice. The nicotine definitely picks up in the final third so you do have to watch out for that a bit, but as long as you are prepared this is a stellar blend. My only complaint is the fact it actually smoked faster than I expected at 2 and a half hours, and would not hold an ash for anything. I do admit I have a pretty good idea what this cigar is since Maduro Presidente cigars are pretty rare, but I have never had a chance to smoke it before." -Lauren S. (Lauren S.)
