Cubariqueño Cigar Co. announced a line extension to their Protocol Themis cigar, a Corona Gorda. This new size will be a Famous Smoke Shop exclusive. Like all other Cubariqueño cigars, they re being rolled at La Zona in Esteli, Nicaragua. The vitola is 5 5/8 x 46 and comes in boxes of 10. The blend remains the same as the previous Themis releases using an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper with Nicaraguan binder and fillers.
"Overall this was a good cigar, although it did start off better than it finished for me. The chocolatey sweetness at the beginning would have been phemonimal if it was present the whole way through. All in all, the flavors that were present were good. The shape of the cigar is neat, and while medium-full, it is still not crazy strong, though it should not be enjoyed on an empty stomach." -Kevin A. (Kevin A.)
With an intended launch of spring 2015, The Rake will be made at Erik Espinosa’s La Zona factory in Esteli, Nicaragua. The cigars will be presented in classic cabinet-style boxes of 20 and available in 4 different vitolas, Fix (5-5/8x46), Cut (5x52), Take (6x52), and Vig (6x60). Two of the sizes will be slightly box pressed, Cut and Fix.

·"Overall this was a decent smoke with the first half being my favorite. Rich buttery notes dominated the profile throughout and provided ample amounts of deliciousness for nearly and hour and a half. Recommended for those who enjoy mild and medium bodied sticks, this would be a good staple to add to almost any aficionados humidor. " -John A. (Bostoneo)
"A perfect cigar! This beautiful box-pressed cigar with a chocolate wrapper makes this a cigar worth enjoying. Notes of chocolate, oak, and black pepper make me want another one. A cigar you'd want for your humidor. Pick up a few or a box, and let the pleasure begin." -Sean F. (fullermaine)

·"This is a damn good cigar. It was slightly milder than I typically prefer but the interesting mix of flavors kept my attention and didn't leave me wanting more. I'd recommend this to anyone who likes a cigar that is just south of medium strength and would also have no issues handing one to my friends who seldom smoke. This one is worthy of smoking to the nub and is worthy of a place in my humidor." -Jason H. (Jokey Smurf)
