Blind Cigar Review: Ventura | Manolo Quesada for Cuban Cigar Factory Robusto

"Oh my how I loved this cigar. While it did not offer up any transitions along its length, from the very start it did offer so many varying flavors that a change of profile would have ruined the experience. The aroma was also quite nice when the smoke hit the nostrils. I'm looking forward to smoking a lot more of these in the future." -Isaac M. (The Nothing)

Blind Cigar Review: Partagas | Limited Reserve Decadas 2019

"A decent looking stick, with great pre-light aromas, and lackluster construction and burn. The flavor profile was okay, middle of the road for me, I feel the lightly packed/rolled tobacco caused this stick to burn too quickly, causing off flavors from the high burn temp. I’d smoke it again, but it wouldn’t be my first choice as the flavor profile was pretty straight forward and didn’t have a level of complexity that I am typically accustomed with true premium cigars. While not the bottom of the barrel in the premium world, a noteworthy smoke that you should try!" -John A. (Bostoneo)

"This cigar is a grower not a shower. Don’t let the sub optimal appearance deceive you, there’s interesting flavors here that develop over the course of 75 minutes. Even the cracking of the wrapper in the final third didn’t take away from smoking experience. All I ask is that a cigar doesn’t bore me and this stogie isn’t boring by a long shot. The lesson - don’t judge a book by its cover folks." -Matt Cade (CADE)

"Nice aroma, fantastic flavors that are both complex and easily discernible - this is a very well blended and constructed cigar that I would smoke again and again and again. And again. I didn’t want to let this one end..." -Matt Cade (CADE)

"This was a good cigar but it was pretty one dimensional. For the full bodied fan, this is a decent pick, but for the Smoker who likes them mild this might be a turn off. I’d smoke another one but won’t run out to pick up a box. " -Jason H. (Jokey Smurf)

"This is a cigar I really want to buy several boxes of. From start to finish it was a winner. Flavors were on point and complex. Construction was impeccable. I'd give this an 'Extraordinary'. Definitely multi box worthy." -Kevin J. (maninblack77)

"I really enjoyed this cigar. Burned nice at a great pace with some wonderful Flavors. Starting with the pepper and earth which moved into the roasted nuts and bitter veggie flavors. While I was smoking this I had a glass of bourbon which paired nicely. The sweetness from my bourbon and the bitter roasted flavors from the cigar was excellent. I look forward to seeing what this was so I can pick up more." -Jake P. (Jake P.)

"Any cigar that does not become bitter near the end is a good one. The spices for most of the time were a nice blend of cinnamon and nutmeg with a great spice tingle. Towards the end the black licorice came in but was not over bearing. All in all this is one that will pair well with a single malt scotch. It would be a nice addition to my humidor." -Eric (smalls29)

"Over all, a pleasant smoke with a good spice that hit the roof of your mouth and back of the throat, a good solid dark grey ash, plenty of smoke, very enjoyable after a day of dealing with sub zero temperatures and frozen pipes, it was warming indeed. Overall, a fine experience to cap off the day." -Joseph S. (Bearded Bastard)

Quick Cigar Review: Don Lino Africa | Robusto

While I have never smoked the original Don Lino I have seen them in catalogs etc. but I can't make any comparisons. I did enjoy this cigar but it's not in my top 5 cigars that come from Miami Cigar and Company. The creaminess at the end really brought this cigar home and I do recommend picking up a fiver at the very least.
