The ACID Petra, a 5 x 54 robusto with a Sumatra wrapper and pigtail cap, was released early in the 2000’s. S&R will be made available at selectd BLK WKS retailers for a limited time. Crowned Heads have partnered with Shore Thing Cigars in Watersound Beach, FL for a new store exclusive cigar. The aptly named Shore Thing cigar is a 5 1/4 x 48 cigar made at Tabacalera La Alianza S.A. Paul Copeland and Luke Bryan (yes, the International Country Music superstar) opened Shore Thing Cigars in July of 2016. When they decided to have a namesake cigar made for their shop, they immediately thought of Nashville based Crowned Heads.

In 2014, Crowned Heads released their first TAA Exclusive cigar, with "The Angel's Anvil" ad a clever play on the familiar acronym. Since that first release, the yearly arrival of the TAA cigar from Crowned Heads has always been highly anticipated. The team at Crowned Heads have not been afraid to mix it up either, changing the blend and vitola from year to year. The release for 2018 will, once again, take risks and push boundaries. ·"I really enjoyed smoking this cigar. The first 1/3 of the cigar was truly fantastic. Really great spice and pepper to begin mixed with hints of sweetness. If the flavors continued throughout the rest of the cigar, it would have ranked much higher for me. ·"This cigar was never in my wheelhouse, but I am happy I got the opportunity to smoke it. This cigar expands the palate from prelight to the nub of what a premium cigar can offer in terms of flavor. Maybe my palate is broken.. I have no idea, but the exhale/retro was interesting delivering the wet wood, peat, earth, citrus, salt and flighty cream.
