Villiger Cigars has announced a new vitola to the Flor De Ynclan line, Flor De Ynclan. This will be limited to 500 boxes of 25 produced a year. This new size will debut at the 2018 IPCPR trade show in Las Vegas.
Villiger Cigars have opened a new factory in Brazil, Villiger Do Brasil (which translates from Portuguese to “Villiger of Brazil”). Heinrich Villiger was there for the opening of the new facility, marking the next evolution of a long relationship between Villiger Cigars and Brazilian tobacco, dating back to Villiger Cigars’ beginnings in 1888, when Villiger began importing Brazilian tobacco. This later led to establishing a Brazilian Villiger subsidiary, and factory called Charutos Tobajara Limitada. The name is derived from a tobacco growing Indian tribe in the Amazon area

(Miami, Florida) June 16, 2017— Villiger Cigars proudly announces that the Villiger - La Flor De Ynclan will be presented at the 2017 IPCPR in Las Vegas this coming July 2017. The creation of every cigar carries a story, and this is no different. The La Flor De Ynclan is a special cigar, diligently crafted by Heinrich Villiger and master blender Jose Matias Maragoto of ABAM Cigar Factory in the Dominican Republic.
I enjoyed this cigar a bit more than the Flor de Ynclan. I think it had the sweetness that the Flor de Ynclan was missing and full bodied to go with it. I thought the flavors worked well together and there were nice transitions from beginning to end. I really liked it.
Villiger Cigars announced agreements with Casa Turrent and Brigham Enterprises Inc. to distribute their cigars in Mexico and Canada. Casa Turrent, owned by Alejandro Turrent is a grower, manufacturer, and distributor of cigars in Mexico. Brigham Enterprises Inc., established in 1906, also shares a century’s worth of tobacco history, first as pipe makers and later to become a distributor of cigars in Canada.
"This was a good cigar, but I had higher expectations. The flavors were pleasing, but I felt for most of it it could have used some sweetness. If the whole cigar had tasted like the final third, minus the bitter nub, it would have scored higher for sure. I definitely want to try the other vitolas and give them more rest. Construction was great and I could see this turning into a very good smoke." - Emmett
(Miami, FL) October 23, 2017—Villiger Cigars proudly announces that Manuel Garcia will join the Villiger International Handmade Cigar Division. This announcement comes as the company continues to bolster its rapidly growing premium handmade cigar presence in the market place.
"I am not a big fan of overly mild to mild-medium cigars. This one made me change my outlook. From the initial appearance and feel to the smoke throughout each third, this cigar was definitely one for everyone. Whether smoking in the morning with coffee, lunchtime with a soda or lemonade, or after dinner with some scotch or bourbon, this cigar will deliver a tremendous experience to enjoy. Grab these and just sit back and relax." -Steve (ThaGreatWazoo)
