Blind Cigar Review: Tatuaje | Seleccion de Cazador (Brown Label) UnicosAppearance/Construction

Appearance/Aroma: 93/100

“Flawless wrapper.  Even fill, firm just a slight spring. Prelight and foot aroma tobacco and chocolate. Not even a water spot to be found.” – (bigslowrock)

“The aroma from the foot is earthy and woody. The wrapper is very even in color but does have some moderate veins. The wrapper itself is very soft to the touch and velvety, leading me to believe that this cigar has been aged nicely.” -Emmett (rhetorik)

Construction/Burn/Draw: 95/100

“Burn was quite nice. Very straight. Draw was a bit tighter than perfect, but not enough to detract from the score.” – (lilninjabuddy)

“It was a well packed cigar without any soft spots.  Draw on this was good the whole length of the cigar and it cut with no problems using my Palio.” – (dubv23)

First Third:

Blind Cigar Review: Tatuaje | Seleccion de Cazador (Brown Label) Unicos

Flavor: 93/100

Strength: medium

Body/Complexity: medium-full

“Initially, cold draw gives off cinnamon – I swear like red hots! I’m excited to try this. I light up and it’s actually very mild. The spices I detected in the cold draw are there and give the cigar a very nice presence.” – (lilninjabuddy)

“Butter creaminess and a light nutty flavor dominate this third.  No harsh or bitterness to be found. Very pleasant retro hale aromas.” – (bigslowrock)

Second Third:

Blind Cigar Review: Tatuaje | Seleccion de Cazador (Brown Label) Unicos

Flavor: 90/100

Strength: medium

Body/Complexity: medium

“The spice picks up in this third, especially on the finish, but the right amount. I’m finding myself having to slow down smoking this because I’m enjoying it so much, I want more. In this third I found a peaty and citrus  flavor being added to the mix of wood and leather.” – (rhetorik)

“Nuttiness begins to fade to reveal a nice woody flavor.” – (bigslowrock)

Final Third:

Flavor: 92/100

Body/Complexity: medium-full

“HELLO Creaminess! Accompanied with some spice (vanilla almond) and light sweetness” – (bigslowrock)

“Some soft wood and leather flavors arrive on the final third. Also, a little creaminess but faint.” – (b-daddy)

“This cigar is elegant, full bodied, smooth, and complex without being overpowering at any time. Whatever it is, I be buying a box.” – (rhetorik)

“One of those cigars that you wished there was another inch or two. Just an excellent smoke. I can’t wait to find out the box code so I can go acquire some for myself.” – (bigslowrock)
