Hollywood, FL – February 8, 2016 – “Filthy is more satisfying” is what they will be saying about Alec Bradley Cigars’ 2016 release of their limited edition, Black Market Filthy Hooligan, when they arrive in retail cigar stores on March 17th. With only 2,000 boxes made, this year they’ve gone full-tilt with a new barber pole wrapper and a more full-flavored blend than the 2015 edition. Released annually on St. Patrick’s Day since it was introduced in 2013, fans of the brand may not recognize it at first. Using the traditional candela wrapper and swirling it around a three nation filler & binder core with a dark Nicaraguan Jalapa wrapper, the result is a stunning new taste experience at every level.

"This cigar would have rated much higher in this this category if it were not for the final third. The bitterness that crept in in the final third took it down a few notches along with the work it took to keep it going. The first two thirds shined as bright as the morning sun. The final third was more like a cloudy day with the threat of rain. " -James H. (Keikan Jim)
Following the acquisition of Lars Tetens Brands this April, Alec Bradley is relaunching the brand as a partnership between the companies. Lars Tetens has been around since 1979 creating cigars "conditioned" with essential oils and botanicals. "Conditioned" cigars are new to Alec Bradley.
"Until that last third I would have said that this was a fairly linear cigar with minimal transition. The last third saved it a little bit but I’m not sure most people would have stuck around for it. I would have been one of them. If you are a fan of a light, liner cigar this will be for you. I’ll be interested to see what this cigar is so I can give it another shot." -Estevan Z. (TheRealBanzi)
Cigar Dojo and Alec & Bradley are collaborating again, this time on Dojo Chico. This project is an homage to the Topo Chico brand of sparkling mineral water that many cigar enthusiasts, Cigar Dojo and Blind Man's Puff included, have come to embrace while smoking a cigar.
