I've talked to several people recently and the seeming consensus is that pretty much everyone makes good cigars; which is for the most part true. So what makes a great cigar? For me at least, it one that tells a story. This one told a story with it's clean flavors and ever changing profile. The burn started a little wavy but never needed a touch up or relight and eventually became razor sharp. I wish the draw was just slightly tighter; but I like a bit more resistance and others may find it perfect. The price point is a little high but I've smoked other cigars at similar prices that don't hold a candle to it. I can't recommend it enough and it's easily one of the top five cigars I've smoked this year.

"This was a decent stick with plenty of flavor transitions from third to third. The thick luxurious flavors proved ample enjoyment and relaxation. The only downside I had was with the burn as a result of an uneven construction during the first half of the cigar. Something I’d like to try again before I decide if it’s a must try...." -John A. "This was a fun cigar as each puff was not the same as the previous. The struggle to be the dominant flavor never ceases, all the way to the end. It always kept me interested and would easily become part of my regular rotation. " -Isaac M. (The Nothing)

As with previous years, the order of their votes mattered as their #1 vote is worth twice as much as their #10. Our list is made up of cigars that had a wide release this year. The cigars that are eligible do not have to have been reviewed on Blind Man's Puff, but the reviewer must have smoke it at some point to vote for it.

This cigar performed like a champ. No touch ups required during the entire experience and I got tons of flavor. I have smoked this cigar in other sizes and hands down the Churchill is my favorite. I do find the Toro to have a bit more pepper but overall I can smoke these over and over. Recommend this cigar to anyone.
"A very nice creation, I am pretty much nicotine impervious so I know that would be something most wont like about this stick and a select few will love about this stick. I loved the complexity and transitions. You can tell the manufactures wanted this Cigar to stand apart from every other cigar created. Thumbs up" -Ryan H. (Ryan H.)
