There was a very positive vibe going on in the LFD booth this year, especially when you talk with Antonio Gomez, son of Litto Gomez, both blenders and owners of La Flor Dominicana.

·"I wanted to rate this cigar higher. The beginning and middle had some really nice flavors coming through. The smoke output on each draw was plentiful. The oily wrapper and chisel tip made it easy to smoke. All that, and then the final third hit a brick wall. Relights galore and harsh flavors just made the overall rating from me fall off a cliff. I would hope this stick was an anomaly in an otherwise solid blend. If I had stopped after the second third I would be happy." -Matthew T. (A Huge Nerd)

·“I’ll start off by stating that I am not a fan of mild cigars…They generally just don’t keep my attention. This was an exception. The occasional flavor transitions, plus the excellent initial flavors were interesting and worthy of my time. This is something that I would highly recommend to any new smoker, of someone looking for a change of pace. Also, a perfect way to start a day. The reveal of this one will be interesting…. This cigar is one where the totality of the experience is greater than each of it’s parts…well done.” –Jason H. (Jokey Smurf)

·“I enjoyed the beginning of the cigar, but it began to drop off in flavor in the second third and became a little bitter. It’s not a bad cigar by the end; although, it’s very one dimensional. I would pick up another one if I wanted a long smoke that didn’t require a lot of attention.” -Alan (Eulogy)
