Gurkha Cigar Group International has announced three new cigars to be shown off at the PCA Trade Show in Las Vegas, NV next week.
"This was a good cigar overall. Had the draw been less cumbersome, it would have been a treat.
Nice transitions in flavor while maintaining much of the original flavors at the beginning with just a couple of additions and subtractions. I would buy this cigar in the hopes that the next one would not have the same multi-puffs necessary on the draw." -Randy B. (randobush)
"This cigar was an absolute dynamite smoking experience. From the look and feel in the hand to the smooth flavor transitions, this cigar will please the entire range of smokers. Grab some of these and truly enjoy. Great cigar. " -Steve (ThaGreatWazoo)
The re-release of the Gurkha Cigars Master Select has shipped to stores. Master Select was originally introduced in 2001 and was the best seller that year for Gurkha. “The Master Select is a beautifully crafted cigar that was always a Gurkha nation favorite,” said Kaizad Hansotia, CEO of Gurkha Cigars. “We are excited that the Master Select is arriving in stores and that our customers will once again be able to indulge with this rich, smooth cigar.”
Gurkha Cigars planned to acquire American Caribbean Cigars in Q1 2018, but after careful consideration have decided to pull out of the deal. Instead, they will build their own 100,000 square foot factory for the manufacturing of premium cigars for their international markets. They expect the project to take about 2 years as location scouting takes place.
Gurkha Cigar Group International has announced they are shipping the Coleccion Especial. The Coleccion Especial was announced during this year’s (2022)PCA Trade Show in Las Vegas, NV. Released to only 150 retailers across the country, a special invitation was mailed out to invite those retailers to a private unveiling of the brand.
This week, Gurkha Cigars started shipping the Nicaragua Series to retailers. The Gurkha Nicaragua Series made it's debut at IPCPR 2019 and sees only the shelves of Gurkha's top retailers. Gurkha placed a maximum of 5 boxes per size, per retailer on the launch.
"Although this particular cigar was very light bodied and had a very open draw, I enjoyed it a lot. This would make an excellent morning cigar to pair with a light coffee or hot tea. In the afternoon, pair with a light pilsner or kolsch beer. " -James H. (Keikan Jim)
"If the end didn't fall a bit flat I'd say this is a very well done cigar. The notes are very classical to me and it smoked effortlessly. I wouldn't recommend running out and buying a box but if I wanted a solid smoke while having a chat or playing a game I think it would do nicely. " -Alan (Eulogy)
Gurkha Cigar Group launches a holiday sampler, featuring a stylish black hexagonal design with 6 toro cigars and a cutter. Available at US retailers while supplies last.
