Blind Cigar Review: Alpha | Absinthe Infused Claro Half Corona

"I am always looking for that perfect short/winter smoke. When I pulled out this half corona I was excited. I was a bit nervous to do a review on this small of a cigar as it's really hard to break it up into thirds. The cigar smoked great with some nice balance of flavor to start. As the cigar warmed I did get a bitter taste that came and went. I would pick up some of these for that quick winter smoke!" -Zane G. (Zane)

"This was just a beautiful cigar to look at and even hold in my hand. Looks alone this cigar would be killer. Unfortunately I had some draw issues on this one. Normally I would have taken the draw poker to it but since it was a review I wanted to smoke it as is. I did enjoy the flavors I got throughout they were just very muted and in the end became bitter. "This sample was not only a joy to look at but was also pleasant journey to smoke. This cigar presented creamy cedar, citrus, roasted nuts, sweet fruit, doughy bread, hay, and a touch of cinnamon. In addition to that.. through the nose was espresso, dark chocolate notes, hay, earth, and black pepper. If you have the time to smoke a cigar for 2+ hours grab a few of these, and however many hands this blend took to come to fruition was well worth the work." -Matt C. (Big Matt)
