In all honestly, I don't think I would have liked this as newbie cigar smoker. Rich aged tobacco wasn't something that I was super into when I started smoking and it took time for me to appreciate the nuance and quality. That being said, this cigar has that rich aged tobacco flavor as its main and dominate flavor though out and depending on how much you personally enjoy it will greatly influence your thought of it. As far as burn, construction, and draw they were all top notch. Burned cool and consistence the entire time and the ash looked like stacked nickles. The smoke output was a bit lackluster to me. I enjoy a creamier and thicker smoke myself but it was far from thin. Certainly worth a try but keep a few hours free because it took just under three hours to finish this beast.

·"This was an interesting cigar. I started out mild/medium and kept ramping up in strength were it even caused a bit of a nicotine buzz. The main flavor component was wood & spice, there was a nice floral and cream on the retro in the beginning then turned to more spice, until the final third which brought heavy cinnamon on the retro very unusual. "I immensely enjoyed this cigar. The quality of flavors, smoke, and construction make this one of the highlights of the year for me. I usually would have to smoke another to make sure it wasn't a fluke, but on this single experience I would highly recommend this cigar to anyone. " -Alan (Eulogy)
Overall, this was a very tasty cigar with many flavors one doesn't typically get with many sticks. I thoroughly enjoyed the sweet creamy flavors that exuded from the cigar. The burn was spot on and construction near perfect. The only issue was the super flaky ash, which ended up all over me as bits and pieces would separate from the main bulk. Worth $32? Maybe as a celebratory smoke or if you want something that is a change of pace that is a mild/medium profile. Thumbs up on this masterpiece.

·"This is a cigar I would smoke any day. If you are looking for a nicely flavored cigar without any pepper this would be a great smoke. The earthiness along with the smooth and creamy profile was very pleasant. There was a great blend of coffee, cocoa, hint of leather, baking spices and leafy floral. I really enjoyed this and recommend this cigar for any level of cigar smoker. " -Diana (ArmyRN)
It kinda caught me off guard how slow this cigar was burning. I was about an hour and twenty minutes in and only halfway done. The burn was pretty wavy and I was tempted to touch it up a few times but let it run its course and it started burning razor sharp after the halfway point. The draw was just a tad looser that I normally like but the quality and quantity of smoke was unreal. The end kinda left my head spinning and I'm glad I had eaten before I started this review or I would have been in trouble. If you enjoy slow burning, strong, rich cigars I highly recommend picking up a few to try.
"I find myself enjoying this more while reflecting back on it. The flavor profile was a very traditional style Nicaraguan with tobacco, cedar, leather, and pepper but it all worked very well when taken as a whole. The retrohale provided a bit of a break from the draw and even though the draw was a bit tight it was a good cigar for what it was. It's not a game changing cigar but it's a solid smoke and certainly worth your time. " -Alan (Eulogy)

·"This was a decent stick with plenty of flavor transitions from third to third. The thick luxurious flavors proved ample enjoyment and relaxation. The only downside I had was with the burn as a result of an uneven construction during the first half of the cigar. Something I’d like to try again before I decide if it’s a must try...." -John A. (Bostoneo)
Amazing would be an understatement for this fine luxurious smoke. Ample amounts of complexity and well balanced medium bodied flavors were extracted and deeply appreciated as the blender really knows how to make a grade A smoke. I cannot sing praises high enough... you MUST... in fact I demand you to buy a Bespoke Basilica A and experience what this cigar has to offer... you will be forever spoiled.

·"This was a thoroughly enjoyable smoke that I could recommend to anyone that enjoys medium bodied and flavorful cigars. The flavor profile of light brown sugar, spices, and figs were very enjoyable as they each took turns highlighting themselves. Definitely a box where the smoke that I would buy multiples of!" -John A. (Bostoneo)
